Sarabis Pov:
"Wait, this man is your father?" She asked as she looked between us.
"Unfortunately."
"Can you give us a minute please? I need to talk to my daughter."
She hesitatingly looked at me until I gave her a nod of approval.
"Fine. 10 minutes then you get your treatment and you're back on lockdown." She said sternly as she headed for the door.
"Security is right outside the door. Say the word and I'll send them in."
"Thank you." I whispered back as I closed the door slightly.
"It's good to see you princess."
"Cut the crap. What you want?" I asked impatiently.
"I'm trying to rebuild a relationship with you."
"You should've thought about that before you tried to kill me and Abel." I rolled my eyes as he propped himself up in the bed.
He coughed a little as he motioned for me to come closer.
"Listen, Bambi-"
"Sarabi. Don't ever call me that shit again." I said sternly as I stood beside the bed.
"Aye watch your mouth. Look I know I fucked up bad but I'm down right now and everyone I had on my side is gone. My workers, my friends, they all left me like it was nothing."
"Sounds like a personal problem to me." I shrugged.
"Come on. You can't stay mad at me forever. And regardless I'm still your dad and I expect you to obey me. I need your help."
"Yeah it's gonna be a no for me." I said as I started to back away from the bed.
All of a sudden he grabbed my arm and held it tightly.
"Oh fuck no secur-"
" I'm serious Sarabi! I'm dying!" He said as he locked eyes with mine.
His hands trembled as he slowly let me go.
"What?"
"The doctors say I have a disease and they don't know what it is. All they can do is give me breathing treatments and medications to help fight the symptoms. I know it's crazy to be asking you this but-"
