Sarabis Pov:

I got out of the bed and pulled Abel away as hard as I could.

"You- you fucking broke my nose!" He fumed as he struggled to get off the floor.

"You lucky it ain't more. Get the fuck out man."

"Yeah. Fuck y'all anyway. And you? I'll be seeing you around." He said as he pointed at me.

"Nigga what the fuck you just said?"

"ḥit͟s'ani teregaga...." ( calm down baby...)his mom cooed as she came to help me hold him back.

"You'll see me again." He nodded before walking out the door.

Abel was about to follow him until Samra stopped him.

She grabbed his face and made him look at her.

"minimi āyidelemi hēdwali." (It's okay, he's gone.) she whispered as tears streamed down her face.

He took a deep breath before locking eyes with Lisa.

"And what the hell you still in here for? Get the fuck out!"

"O-ok." She quivered before running out the door.

Before I knew it he grabbed my neck and rubbed his thumb over she scar.

"Why didn't you tell me it was him?"He asked sternly.

"I didn't want your mom to hate me. She looked so happy to be with him again...and y'all kinda worked things out...I didn't want to ruin that."

"Sarabi, sweetie listen. When I told you that you're now part of the family, I meant that. That means we would never hate you and that you can come to us about anything." His mom smiled as she pulled me in for a hug.

Abel wrapped his arms around us both then kissed my forehead.

"For now on, I don't care what it is, tell me. We in this for life. Ight?"

"Okay."  I said softly.

Isaiah eventually crawled from under the bed where he was hiding.

He must've gotten down there when no one was looking during the commotion.

Poor kid is going to be traumatized.

He immediately grabbed a tissue and gave it to Samra.

"Please don't cry grandma."

"Grandma?" She smiled as her face lit up.

"Yeah! You're my grandma!" He smiled as he gave her a hug.

"Thank you baby, you made my day a whole lot better."

"Yeah, be happy with that one cause you ain't getting no more any time soon." Abel mumbled.

"Abel. Shut up." Samra said as she shot him a cold glare.

"I'm just saying." He shrugged.

"Now you! Let me get a better look at that ring!"

I immediately extended my hand for Samra to hold.

"This is beautiful! I'm so glad he picked you over those chicken heads he called his girlfriends." She chuckled.

"Mama!"
