Sarabi's Pov:
"Abel! Thank God you're here!" I sniffed.
"You good ma? You need to go to the hospital? Look what he did to you!" He said in a concerned voice as he began to examine my face after he untied me.
"I'm fine, I just wanna get out of here."
"You sure? I mean your face is all bruised up and you're even walking with a limp." He said as he tried to help me up and down the hall.
I gently pushed him away and headed towards my room.
I wrapped a sheet around me tighter and threw him a weak smile.
"I swear, I just need a minute to get some stuff and I'll call Sonya." I reassured him as I slowly closed my door.
"Okay." He called back.
I winced in pain as I slipped on a pair underwear, leggings, and an oversized shirt..
I then threw a bunch of things in my suitcase and slipped on my white fuzzy slides.
I started to tear up as I looked around my room and different emotions came over me.
I was happy that I was finally free, but I also didn't want to leave my childhood house.
My mom did so much to provide this place for us.
Not to mention the countless memories we've made here.
I glanced over my room one last time, grabbed my stuffed monkey, and turned out the light.
By the time I was turning the handle, Abel was outside the door.
"We'll come back when he's not here and get the rest." Abel reassured me as he grabbed my bag and headed for the stairs.
I quickly trailed behind him, hoping that Moe was still unconscious.
"Don't worry, he's still out." Abel smirked as he walked pass his room.
I quickly walked pass only to see his body still slumped on the floor.
"I'm sure Sonnie is still up." I said as we got settled in the car.
I left voicemail after voicemail as we headed down the road.
"Look, it's really no problem if you stay with me for a while. I got more than enough space." Abel reassured me as we came to a stoplight.
"I know, but you've already done so much. I don't want you to feel like I'm taking advantage of you. Plus you got the rest of the tour-"
"I promise you good ma. I consider my fans as family. And family looks out for each other. I'll figure something out." He smiled.
"Fine. Only until I find a place of my own." I said as I reluctantly sat back.
"Whatever you say." He shrugged.
We rode in silence the rest of the way to his house.
