What if?

S/n's birthday

The next she felt small fingers on her face, it was s/n. 

"Darling Oh Happy birthday!!!" Y/n shouted and she kissed his cheek. 

"MUAH! Love you my baby!" She said.

 "Let's get ready shall we? Tobio, Shoyo, Tadashi, Married Tanaka's, Wakatoshi-Kun, Hitoka, Keji, Bokuto-san, Rin, Osamu, and Atsumu are coming and even Kei said he'll come for you!" Y/n said cheering. I wanted to invite Konzume and Kuroo but both of them were busy. Konzume said he'll wish you happy birthday on his stream! and kuroo sent you a gift.

 "REALLY?! Mommy did you really invite them all?" S/n said looking down. 

"Well of course darling you didn't want to celebrate it alone anymore right?" Y/n said looking down at him. 

"Y-yes thank you mommy." He said and y/n heard some sobs and knew he was crying. 

"AWW my poor baby, don't cry." She bends down and hugs s/n. 

"It's okay from now on I'll always invite people over for your birthday and tomorrow mommy and darling can go out together. How does that sound?" Y/n asked s/n and he nodded. 

She whipped his tears and patted his head before giving him his toothbrush. 

They both got ready and s/n was dressed up on his birthday outfit. "Wahh! My Darling's all grown up~!" Y/n said dramatically crying.

"Don't go too far now mommy." S/n said annoyed. 

"Sorry, Oh yeah Shimizu, Ryu, and Yachi are coming early to help me.

 You can play volleyball with Uncle Ryu, okay?" Y/n asked. 

"YEAH! That sounds like a plan mommy!" S/n said and happily jogged to his room.

 A few minutes later they heard the doorbell ring and y/n went to open it but s/n ran towards the door and opened it. 

"S/N MY BOY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" Tanaka said, running towards him and hugging him. 

"THANK YOU!" He said hugging him back. 

"Hi happy birthday s/n" Kiyoko said.

 "Thank you Auntie!" He thanked me. "Shimizu! Hi!" Y/n said walking up to kiyoko and hugging her. 

"Y/n!! OMG! I missed you so much!" Kiyoko said and hugged y/n back. Then Yachi came in, "OMG Y/N-CHAN KIYOKO-CHAN!" She beamed with happiness. After a few hours it was time for everyone else to come and then they heard a lot of rings on the bell. Y/n walked to open the door and both Kageyama and Hinata were panting.

 "BOKE I WIN!" Kageyama said. 

"NO I DID!" Hinata fought back.

 "NO I DID!" Kageyama said again and walked inside. 

"Baka kageyama baka!" Hinata said and followed him inside and y/n was just standing there dumbfounded. 

Then she heard another car pull up. It was Suna, Osamu and Atsumu. They were all dressed up and they got out of the car. 

"Hey long time no see y/n" Suna said walking up to hug her. "Haha yeah long time huh, you're already getting married?" She said hugging him back. 

"please you're jealous because your single ass can't find a decent man." Suna answered.

"S/n is outside and I bet Shoyo, Tobio and Ryu are playing volleyball mind joining them?" She asked Suna.

 He nodded and went inside. (There's a backyard and that's where they're playing volleyball.)

"Samu! Huh, where's Tsumu?" Y/n asked. 

"Oh, la la you haven't hugged me and you're already thinking about my dumb twin." Osamu said, walking up to her. 

"He went to park the car." He said answering the question. 

"Geez It's not like that." Y/n said and hugged him.

 "Sure." He said and hugged her back. "I heard they're playing volleyball?" Osamu asked.

 "Yeah, you wanna play?" She asked him.

 "Sure I haven't played since high school." He said and went inside. Then finally when she was Atsumu came he looked at her and smiled, she smiled. 

"Hi Tsumu." She said waving at him.

 "Yo!" he waved back. She hugged him and he hugged back, y/n didn't notice but she hugged him for too long. 

"Ms. L/n? Ya gonna stay like this forever?" Atsumu asked and she realized what she was doing and pulled back. 

"A-ah sorry!" She said.

 She told him how the boys were playing volleyball and he also went to the backyard. Then Ushijima was coming with flowers and So many things on his hand. 

"Oh my! Wakatoshi-kun you didn't need to buy all that!" Y/n said gasping. 

"My apologies, I've never been to a birthday party so I learned to bake a cake from tendou. It was quite hard because we were on facetime. I also bought all these things." He said bowing.

 "Oh please don't bow!! That's alright also the boys are playing volleyball in the backyard, would you like to join them?" Y/n asked.

 "That would be lovely!" Ushijima said and went inside. 

It was late in the afternoon and it was time for s/n to cut his cake. Y/n ask all the boys to come inside. they all came in and y/n got the cake ready. she lit the candles and put it in front of s/n. 

"can I make a wish?" s/n asked.

 "Of course darling!" Y/n said happily. 

"I wish that I could get a dad." He said and blew the cake.

 Y/n's eyes widened and she smiled although she didn't really feel comfortable for what s/n wished. Atsumu saw how y/n's expression changed. His heart ached in pain to see her like that. After they cut the cake, Kiyoko and Yachi brought food out to the others and y/n went in the back yard for some fresh air. She closed her eyes and breathed the air and opened her eyes again. Her hair was flying in the air and it suddenly got chiller but warmth filled her back and shoulder and she realized someone put their coat around y/n. Y/n looked at that person and it was Atsumu, 

"Learn to take care of yer self will ya." Atsumu said looking up at the stars. 

"Oh, Tsumu are you done eating?" She asked looking back at the sky. 

"Yeah, It was the best food I've had, thanks!" He said facing her and smiling at her. 

She looked at him but immediately looked away with a blush on her face,

 "Glad you liked it." She answered. 

"Y/n I've been meaning to ask you, Who is s/n's father?" He said looking at the sky and y/n's eyes widened

"Y/n's I've been meaning to ask you, Who is s/n's father?" That question played in y/n's head over and over. 

She didn't know what to say, 'do I casually say "Oh he's your son?" I-I I don't know. What do I say- "Atsumu-kun!, Osamu-kun is calling for you. He said he wants to go home." Yachi said.

 Y/n didn't like being interrupted but this time it was different, Y/n was so relieved that she had been interrupted.
