The truth

"S/n's father is dead.." Y/n said.

"Huh?!" Atsumu said his mouth wide open.

"No..No that's..no his father is still alive," Y/n said sighing.

"Hey...You don't have to tell me if you don't want to y'know?" Atsumu said.

"No, but...but I have to...I can't lie to you twice.." Y/n said looking at him with a sad expression.

"Y/n what do you mean? You're making me more curious..?" Atsumu said, looking at her concerned.

"Well, you see...Atsumu s/n's dad is actually the man I'm talking to right now..he's you..."Y/n said, finally getting the words out of her mouth.

There was a long silence and Atsumu was trying to process what she just said and it clicked to him. His eyes widened and he looked at her with wide eyes.

"Wha- y/n are you joking?" Atsumu questioned.

"Why would I joke anything about this..? Can you please let me explain?" Y/n asked.

He nodded still shocked by the fact that s/n was his son.

"Back then 5 and a half years ago...before I broke up with you, I was pregnant with s/n. I wanted to abort him when I found out but I didn't want to because it wasn't his fault. None of this was...I wanted to tell you but I didn't have the courage to. The doubts started filling my mind and I eventually gave up and decided to break up with you.

I also moved cities and there I met Shoyo, Tobio, Kuroo, Konzome, and so many more people after I left our city. I eventually had s/n 2 months after I turned 19.

All my friends helped me raise him, There was a tragic incident when I delivered s/n. A crazy doctor decided to put a chemical that makes s/n think like an adult and a bit mature for his age. They gave me an antidote to feed s/n which might be working right now and the doctor is arrested. That's all the things I've been hiding from you..." Y/n said. She was tearing up and so was Atsumu.

"I...y'know I've always wanted to start a family with you...I'm just shocked. I'll drop you off." He said and stood up.

Y/n was nervous and she followed Atsumu to his car. On their way back home they didn't talk to each other so the drive was silent.

They got to y/n's house and she got off, S/n was asleep so she held him.

"Tsumu? Do you have extra clothes?" Y/n asked Atsumu. "Yeah I have my suitcase here because I traveled to another city a few days ago, why?" Atsumu asked.

"Well..umm...I was wondering if you wanted to stay over?!" Y/n asked feeling embarrassed.
