The prophecy

We are on purely dark water in a tiny boat. The ties around my wrist dig into my skin and hurt if I move a single inch.

"Your a real dick you know that?" I detest and he rolls his eyes. "And your a pretty artifact, what can I say." I refuse to let my face go red but I honestly don't think I have control over that anymore.

Somewhere in between him shoving me in the boat and him carrying me bridal style too the boat, my corset bow had completely disappeared letting my breath finally even out, though the corset itself was still tight as fuck.

"Why do you want me here anyways? Are you apart of some cult that takes people on there wedding day and eat them alive?" I snarl but he doesn't look at me. Instead keeps his eyes focused on the paddles swaying movements in the water below us. He grips them tighter after my words fall out.

"Maybe, maybe not." He grunts through a large swing in the water. "Well than what do you need me for are you-"

"You know, looking from afar you seemed cute at first but now your just kind of annoying." He says turning to glare at me. I see him grip loosen on the paddles and take my chance.

I kick the paddle out of his hand with my foot and it falls into the water getting consumed instantly. He looks at me in shock. The sky is still a blue cloudless thing and the heat is unbearable. I watch with an aloof expression before his face turns to rage.

"You fucking bitch don't you know what you've done!" he growls and the air's non-existent wind starts to pick up. I let my face flash guilt for a second before reminding myself why I'm doing this.

"I'm going down if my kingdom goes down." I snarl back at him. He mumbles something under his breath with a salty tone before turning back to the only paddle left.

But it's gone.

"What- I just- did you kick it!" He questions me, infuriated. I shake my head bewildered. We had been to busy fighting to notice the sky slowly turning gray as the boat started to move itself along the quickening waves. We both scream as the boat takes a sudden turn to the left.

"What did you do!" I hiss at him but just by the side of his face I can see the shocked look.

The sky is growing darker at a rapid pace and the one a slightly dark aqua is now a black lagoon.

"Fine if you want to know so bad, a prophecy states I need to find a prince to help me find the ingredient for true love!" He shouts over the wind.

"Why do you need a fucking love child and who the fuck told you I would help!" I shriek back.

"Just shut up you stupid bitch!"

"I-" The wind is to loud and I sag in my spot after he speaks.

I pull at the ties on my wrist hysterically trying to get free but god knows I was not born with any strength in my bones. Tears start to form in my eyes and my bones shake as I hear the crackle of thunder above us. Sapnap desperately tries to move his hands in the water to paddle. I can see his hands are red from how cold the water is. He cry's out and takes his hands away from the water holding it with a look of pain and dismay shown across his face.

His eyes flick over to me hopelessly trying to pry off the ropes. I give him a look because my throat is so clogged up with horror making it impossible to speak. A glimpse of pity dances in his eyes and he crawls towards me carefully on the small boat. Thunder crackles in the sky and he trips falling directly onto me.

His body is warm and I can smell his sent of burning ash against my face. He's soaked in sweat and is panting heavily. His eyes golden as his face nears closer to mine until we're inches away. I can feel his staggered breath on my lips and for a second I get lost in this moment of him being so close to me.

Then he shoves my head onto his shoulder and wraps an arm around me too the back where my bruised wrists are tied up. I blush crimson, I have never been this close to somebody. Or at least not like this. His fingers work at the fringes of hay tied into knots to create a holder for my wrists. When I feel my wrists untied he leans off of me and rests his hand on the side of support. His face is near enough for me to smell him but not as close as before.

"Uh- sorry I just thought if we we're getting out of this I might give you a chance of surviving." He chuckled lightly. Paralyzed and winded from the past moment all that escapes my lips is a throaty groan.

He gives me one last weak smile before turning back to his bag. The thunder fades but the sky stays the same.

I curl up resting my head on the edge of the boat. Exhaustion takes over me. I can catch a small smile on his face before my eyes drift close into a disturbing dream.
