(Warning: abuse is STRONGLY implied in this chapter)

All week Kirishima was a mess, and it seemed to get worse as time went on.

Bakugo tried his best to help but without Kirishima telling him what was going on there wasn't much he could do. He did his best to be there when the redhead needed him, but Bakugo wasn't the best when it came to feelings, so he wasn't really sure how to handle it.

Bakugo got home from school late on Friday. They had had a rough training exercise today and he messed up his hand from overusing his quirk. Recovery girl had to fix it up before he could leave. The pouring rain didn't help his walk home since he forgot his umbrella.

Bakugo was in the middle of making himself dinner. His parents were on some work trip or whatever. He didn't really care, it happened so often that he was used to it. He was pulled out of his thoughts when the doorbell rang.

"Who the fuck would be out in this rain?" Bakugo asked himself with a low grumble as he went to the door.

What he was not expecting was to see his boyfriend standing there. "Ei-Eijiro, what are you-" he froze when he saw bruises and blood. The longer the alpha looked at him, the more injuries he found.

"C-can I s-stay here t-tonight?" He asked. His whole body was shaking and he had a steady stream of tears accompanied by rain running down his face.

"Y-yeah," Bakugo said stepping out of the way for Kirishima to come inside. "Eijiro what happened?" Bakugo asked.

He started crying more and Bakugo didn't know what to do. Sure his boyfriend had been a mess all week, but he had never seen Kirishima THIS broken. He got Kirishima to sit on the couch. The omega looked close to passing out and Bakugo didn't want him to get more injured.

"Ok, Uhh, just stay here for a minute I'm going to get you first aid," Bakugo said brushing Kirishima's hair out of his face. This was the first and will probably be the only time Bakugo wished his parents didn't go on that trip, he didn't know what to do, he needed help.

He ran to the washroom where they kept the first aid kit and ran it back to the living room. Kirishima had pulled himself into a ball and was still crying.

Bakugo sucked in a breath, trying to think of what to do. He had never been good at comforting people, but he had no other option right now. Carefully he sat beside Kirishima, facing the omega.

Kirishima jerked a little when he felt Bakugo dabbing a towel at one of his open cuts. The alpha tried to ignore the small flicker of panic that washed over Kirishima before he remembered who it was with him.

"Eijiro who did this?" Bakugo asked, surprisingly calm.

"You'll get mad," Kirishima muttered, his voice scratchy and dry. This only made the alpha want to know more.

Bakugo carefully pulled Kirishima's face to look at him. "I won't get mad, I promise. I just want to know."

Kirishima pulled his face away and looked at the ground. "M-my father," Kirishima muttered. Bakugo sucked in a sharp breath trying to stay calm like he said he would. He had guessed that Kirishima's father was a dick, but this was way beyond what he thought... something must have happened. Something to make him lash out at his son.

The blond took a moment to collect himself so he wouldn't yell. "Can you tell me why?" Bakugo asked, still patching up Kirishima the best he could.

"H-he's been bad ever since we found out I was-I was an omega, but on Friday, last Friday, m-my mom- my mom she-" Kirishima was cut off by a small sob and he shook his head, the memory too painful.

Bakugo stayed quiet for a while and continued to clean up his boyfriend, bandaging what he could. "I'm going to get you some dry clothes," he said calmly before getting up and going to his room to find something for the omega to wear. Kirishima looked so fragile, he had never seen him like that, it was strange. Kirishima was one of those people that you could almost always count on to be smiling and all happy-go-lucky.

Kirishima sat curled up in a ball on the couch. His mind wandered, remembering what happened in the past hour.

⚠️-trigger warning for abuse and getting kicked out of the house-⚠️

"Get out," his dad said pointing to the door.

"D-dad I-I- where am I supposed to go?" Kirishima asked tears filled eyes.

"I don't fucking care, I can't deal with you anymore. You're a stupid weak omega and a fucking fag, I will no longer tolerate you in my fucking house."

"B-but-"

"You are the fucking reason your mother is gone, you are the fucking reason." He grabbed Kirishima by the caller of his shirt and shoved him against the wall. Even with his hardening quirk somehow he always managed to hurt him. "So get the fuck out." He let go and Kirishima fell to the floor whimpering.

He got kicked out of the house, into the rain, with nothing but the clothes he was wearing. He didn't know where to go, the only place he could think of was Bakugo's.

⚠️-warning is over-⚠️

"Here, go change," Bakugo said handing Kirishima a pair of dry clothes. "And don't take any of these bandages off, ok?"

Kirishima nodded weakly before getting up and walking to the bathroom. His legs were shaky, but he was stable. He felt so weak coming to Bakugo for help but he didn't know what else he could do.

His clothes stuck to his skin as he peeled them off, the mixture of water and blood making it hard to get it off.

The omega looked at himself in the mirror for a moment. He looked like shit. Bruised all over, and there was one particularly nasty scar now crossing his stomach from a few days ago.

Some had been unknowingly healed by recovery girl after training, others healed on their own. He used a washcloth to wash off the rest of the dried blood before slipping on the shirt Bakugo gave him, it was one of his black skull shirts, and the shorts he was given.

Though at first, it felt weird wearing Bakugo's clothes, something inside him liked having the alpha's scent on him. It was a strange comfort that he probably wouldn't admit to any time soon.

Kirishima left the washroom with his soggy clothes in hand. "Where should I put these?" He asked Bakugo, gesturing to his clothes.

"I'll start a wash," Bakugo said taking them from him. "They're covered in blood anyway."

"Where are your parents?" Kirishima asked, noticing how quiet it was and how he wasn't bombarded by Bakugo's mom like last time.

"Out on a work trip, they're supposed to be gone for another few days," the alpha said before leaving to put Kirishima's clothes in the washer.

Kirishima was sort of happy that it was just him and Bakugo, the house would be quiet, a big change from the past week at home.

Kirishima sat on the couch again, Bakugo must have dried it while Kirishima was changing because it was now dry. He pulled Bakugo's shirt up to his nose subconsciously, letting the caramel scent calm his nerves and closing his eyes for a moment.
