"Y-Yoongi can has?" Yoongi poked a large bag of assorted candy excitedly. "Please, Namjoonie?"
"You can have it if you can say it properly." Namjoon said, pushing the cart to a stop behind the hybrid.
Yoongi frowned. "Yoongi did say pr-properly! No be mean, N-Namjoonie! Want candy!"
Namjoon sighed but got him it anyways. It wasn't Yoongi's fault his speech was the way it was, he was never taught properly. And Namjoon had pushed off teaching the hybrid because he found Yoongi's speech so cute and endearing.
But his speech was also a dead giveaway that Yoongi was a hybrid, so even as cute as it was, Namjoon knew he had to teach Yoongi how to speak right, or else he could wind up in a worse situation than when he was with 'Sir'.
After getting back home, Yoongi raced to the couch with an excited giggle, squeaking his mouse toy between his teeth as he hugged the candy to his chest.
He curled up in the corner of the couch and ripped the bag open, but before he could dive in, Namjoon stopped him.
"You can have some candy after you study." He said, plucking the bag out of the hybrids hands.
Yoongi gasped, ears going flat. "Wh- what? Namjoonie, no!"
"Yes." Namjoon put the bag above the fridge, where it was too high for the little hybrid to reach. "It's for your own good."
"No want it to be for Yoongi's own good!" Yoongi wailed, falling onto his back dramatically. "Just want candy!"
"Study first, then you can have some." Namjoon promised him.
Yoongi grumbled, stuffing his toy back in his mouth to nom on with a pout.
"I got you workbooks, where did you put them?" Namjoon asked.
Yoongi rolled off the couch and scampered up the stairs. He returned a few moments later with some practice books and handed them to the human, squeaking his toy.
Namjoon flipped through the pages, seeing a lot of empty answer spaces and a lot of doodles of mice and kittens in the margins.
He sighed, tossing the books aside. "Okay, let's try something different."
"Try candy?" Yoongi asked hopefully.
"No. I'll teach you." Namjoon decided.
Yoongi looked dubious, but he eyed the faraway candy and agreed with a sigh.
Whatever got him that sugar the fastest.
-
"Yoongi?" Namjoon called, peering into the bedroom, where he saw a bundle under the covers. "What are you still doing in bed? We have a language lesson to start!"
Yoongi coughed into his fist when Namjoon pulled the covers off him. "Yoongi no feel goods, Namjoonie."
Namjoon frowned, putting his hand over the hybrids forehead. "Hmm, you do feel a little warm, kitten. Do you have a fever?"
Yoongi didn't know what a fever was, but he nodded anyways.
"Okay kitten, you stay in bed. Namjoonie will get you some medicine." Namjoon leaned down and kissed the hybrids hair.
Yoongi giggled, bunching the covers up under his face.
Namjoon left and grabbed the bottle of pain reliever, some water and dry foods, balancing it all on a tray.
He saw the bag of candy and pulled out a few small pieces for the poor kitten, and headed back to the bedroom.
Yoongi shot up straight in bed when Namjoon entered, his mouse toy falling from his mouth. "Candy?!"
"You can have one piece-"
Namjoon was cut off when Yoongi swiped all of them off the tray, shoving them all in his mouth before Namjoon could take them away.
Namjoon stared at him through narrowed eyes. "You're not really sick, are you?"
Yoongi just beamed cutely at him.
Namjoon sighed, setting the food down. "Points for ingenuity, kitten. I'll give you that."
Yoongi giggled, pulling Namjoon onto the bed so he could curl up with the human, purring contentedly.
"Yoongi l-love Namjoonie!"
Namjoon couldn't help but smile, holding the kitten tightly in his arms.
"Namjoonie loves you too, kitten."
