Ahsoka woke up with a gasp, and sweat dripping down her forehead. It wasn't a scream, not a yell, but the gasp would suffice. Her breath quivered as she calmed down, not even remembering what the nightmare was at this point. It all happened so fast, only flashes of footsteps, running, explosions and distant screaming were in her mind, and they were fading too fast for her to catch, although she couldn't care less, obviously preferring to forget the whole thing.

It was only a gasp, but none the less she heard a door, undoubtedly Anakin coming out of his room. His footsteps stopped too quickly for him to be leaving, meaning he was probably right outside her door. Quickly realizing what he was about to do, she focused on raising her mental shields. When he was satisfied that no harm had come to his Padawan, the footsteps flowed lightly to the main entrance where he could be heard opening the set of blinds there. Ahsoka realized that morning had hit when the sun glared in her eyes from the blinds in her own room, practically forcing her to get up and face Anakin. She wasn't nearly as good at lying to someone who could physically feel the lie, let alone someone as stubborn and caring as Anakin.

With a mental shove she retreated from her bed, catching a quick glance at the knife on her bedside table. She had to stash it in her utility belt, hoping Anakin wouldn't notice last night, but had neglected to put it back in the drawer. That was her first action, moving the knife into the drawer, her second was to change into clothes that weren't dirty, worn, and slept in.

"Hey did you have a nightmare or something?" He didn't even say good morning when she walked in.

"Not unless I managed to forget about it, why?" She tried to joke.

He stared into her gray blue eyes, searching for signs that she was lying, and apparently he found none because his response was pretty chill. "I just thought I heard something this morning." He paused, grabbing his lightsaber from where he had discarded it in his bedroom the night before. "Ready for the briefing?"

She could "hardly" contain her excitement. "Ready." She said, doing the same thing as Anakin and grabbing her lightsabers from her bedside table.

"The attack will take place from inside the factory, so someone will have to sneak under their shields and plant the bombs." Master Kenobi said, pointing to the center of the holographic map.

"Giving me flashbacks to Christophsis, ey Snips?" Anakin joked, slightly nudging her shoulder.

She didn't process what he said right away, but when she did she smiled.

"And maybe a little from Geonosis, although hopefully the results are a little less life threatening this time." He added.

"Agreed." She said, focusing back on the projection.

Anakin thought her silence was a little off, but the kid was tired, and she hadn't been quite the same spunky, snippy teenager she was when they met, not in months. It worried him at first, but he soon chalked it up to throwing a teenager into a war like this.

The troops were about to land, and the general and the commander were both hanging onto the cables in the ships for dear life. Mostly Ahsoka, seeing as she could hardly reach the cables on her own, let alone while they were trying to land in a warzone and being thrown around dodging fire.

"Everybody out!" Anakin yelled, Ahsoka following close by as he took out numerous droids coming at us. That's why everyone liked Anakin, he was the sort of man to put himself on the front lines. He had good tactics, skills, min casualties, max success, and just enough recklessness to go around.
