Y/N's POV
Waking up after less than 5 hours of sleep is the worst feeling in the world. I couldn't get a wink of sleep last night. How did I ended up thinking of him all night?! May I remind myself that I didn't get much sleep. Maybe I'm just overreacting the whole situation. He just smiled at me. It's no big of a deal. He can smile to whoever he wants.
I got up after debating on whether I should call the company and excuse myself, but knowing mr.Jeon, he'll probably throw a bunch of questions on me and might even order me to work overtime. And...i don't want that.
Doing the same as always. I ate, took a quick shower and fix myself. I wore my black pencil skirt and a white blouse with a formal black blazer matching my skirt before I applied natural make up. I started fixing my hair. Brushing it a little while standing in front of the mirror.
"Damn... I look good today" I whispered to myself. I have no idea what happened to me. I just got the sudden urge of complimenting myself.
Spraying on some nice perfume and finally feeling satisfied with my appearance. I stepped out of my apartment and hailed a taxi to take me to the coffee shop, where I go and grab mr.jeon a coffee.
Looking at my wrist watch. It's currently 7:05 I need to arrived at the company not more than 8. Talk about how fast time passes by.
I quickly grabbed two coffees from the shop, not to mention I chatted a bit with madam catherine before continuing my day.
Looking up at the front of the company. *sigh* this is going to be such a long day. I entered, getting normal greetings from everyone,making my way to the elevator. Pressing the floor where I'm supposed to be at 10 minutes more.
I manage to knock on the boss' door while holding the cups of coffee in both of my hand. I heard a small "come in" signaling me to come in, pushing the door open with my shoulder. I saw jungkook typing furiously on his laptop.
"Good morning mr.jeon" I greeted him. He nodded as a response...like always.
Silence engulfed the atmosphere, I don't mind. I have grown used to it.
"Any update about the transaction overseas?" I asked him. He stopped typing and looked up at me. Damn I didn't know he was wearing glasses today. It's sMexy~ Jokeeee.
"Yes, there has been updates. Ms.Verena is planning on paying a visit at the company soon. . . Oh one thing you must know is that when she invest money in business, it is no joke. Ms.Verena invest large sums of money in business projects. I want to seal this transaction with her. We can't let any other company snatch that away from us. I know I told you to not worry and such things, but we obviously can't let this golden opportunity to go to waste" Sincere passion can be heard from him loud and clear. I expected nonetheless, he's the same as ever. Workaholic.
"Ms.Verena you say? As long as I know she's from canada correct?" I asked. Now that I know just how serious this transaction it gets me nervous yet hype up at the same time. Maybe this isn't so bad.
"Correct. As you know, canada is ideal for a variety of reasons. International business in Canada is also a positive,in the interest of this is a country with high standards of living, solid trade partnerships with numerous countries and a banking system second to none. And the person who just happens to own one of the largest business company there contacted us and is willing to give us a shot. Now our major focus is that, we have to give our best to be convincing and trustworthy of the business partnership" he explained. I listen carefully to what he said. This is really a opportunity of a lifetime. Considering on how much time he puts in this.
"do your best ms.L/N" he told me. High expectations can be heard. I sighed.
"Of course mr.jeon" I said. He nodded and went back to typing. I took that as a signal that it is time to leave. Bowing at him,I started to walk back.
"Ms.L/N?" I heard him. Stopping on my track and began facing back to Jungkook giving him my full attention.
"Yes?" I asked looking at him. He was staring straight at me too.
"Nevermind" He dismissed me and went back to what he was doing. Ok?
I walked out of his office and continue my duties.
"Y/n!" I heard yuna called out as she came behind me.
"Yes?" I said not looking up at her. I'm busy doing that 600 copies mr.Jeon wanted and so far I'm only at 274. . .this is going to take awhile.
"So...what happened?" Said yuna while she squealed excitedly. I stared at her in disbelief.
"Nothing happened, yuna" I said. A pout came from her.
"You where in his office for so long, then your going to tell me that nothing happened? Really?!" She whined.
"Was I gone for a while?" I asked. She nodded furiously.
"Yes, but that's not the point" she replied. I laughed. She looked at me confused.
"What?" She said.
"Nothing. I'm just surprised that you're so invested in our relationship" I said. She playfully rolled her eyes.
"Duh of course, but I didn't want to bother the super couple so I waited for you---"
"I swear try finishing that sentence and see what's going to happened to you" I exclaimed. She stopped talking while doing the gesture of zipping her mouth shut.
"Ahh, silence much better" I jokingly spoke while getting the other copies.
"Meanie" she whined while I laughed.

After sometime. I finally finished all my duties including the 600 copies of the file. I looked at my wrist watch. 9:37. I sighed I've been going home late lately. I shrugged and grabbed the files making my way to his office.
I knocked and waited for his signal. Like always. Before going in.
"Here you go Mr.jeon" I said placing all of the paper files on his table. He stared at me surprised. I raised an eyebrow.
"why do you look so surprised?"
"I didn't expect you to literally do 600 copies of the file"
My smile was long gone when he told me that.
"Wait, so you're telling me that I didn't have to do that?!" I whined.
"Uh-huh"
Tell me. . . What's the nicest way to tell my boss that I want to smack a fricking chair on his gorgeous face?
"Now. Calm down ms.L/N" He sarcastically said.
"May I go now mr.jeon?"
"Yes, yes you may"
I nodded and quickly greeted him goodnight.
"Goodnight jungkook"
"Goodnight y/n" he smiled again while I wave him goodbye like a child excitedly going in to school.
