Hope's POV:

This past few months have been great. I have a loving girlfriend and amazing friends. There's two new students that arrived a week ago. They turned out to be brothers.

One of them I recognize as Landon Kirby, a boy I knew used to work at Mystic Grille before moving away. Last time I saw him was when I danced with him the night before my dad and uncle's death.

It was pretty awkward to be honest. I could tell he had a crush on me but he is so not my type. Heck he's not even the right gender.

Right now I'm walking into wolf class with Jed. "Hey H, there's a party tonight. Are you and Josie gonna go," Jed asked as we sat down at a table. Looks like the teacher is late. That's a first.

"I'll see if Josie wants to go but I'm down for a party," I said pulling out my phone to text when Mr. Johnson came stumbling in. His clothes are all messed up along with his hair.

"S-sorry for being late class," his voice broke at the end. He turned to face the class with red eyes indicating he's been crying. "Miss Mikaelson phone away please," he sniffed and wiped his face.

Jed and I looked at each other for a sec before staring at Mr. Johnson in worry. "Um Mr. Johnson are you ok?" Mandy one of the wolfs in the front asked.

He wiped his eyes roughly and went to the whiteboard. "I'm fine. Now today's lesson is gonna be different," he wrote cheater on the board in capital letters. I winced sympathetically is that what happened to him.

"Now what does this word mean?" But before anybody could answer he continued. "I'll tell you what it means. It means your significant other can't keep their fucking legs shut or can't keep it in their pants! They are lying little whores and bastards!!"

We all watched with wide eyes as Mr. Johnson knocked his pictures off his desk and stomped on them. He fell to the floor holding his head sobbing. Oh my god.

Jed and I quickly went over to him and crouched down. I hesitated before putting my hand on his back slowly rubbing it soothingly. "It's okay Mr. Johnson, shh," I can't believe anybody would cheat on one of the sweetest man in Mystic Falls.

I looked at Jed and gestured to Mr. Johnson with my eyes. He shook his head not knowing what to say. I glared at him slightly making him sigh.

"She's right, Mr. Johnson. It's gonna be okay. You wanna know why?" Mr. Johnson sniffed and looked up at him. Jed's eyes went wide, lost for words. I felt like face palming, my best friend is an idiot.

"Because your the sweetest, funniest with a touch of badass man there is. Women are gonna be lining up to be with you. They love men who are like that," I said gaining his attention.

He sniffled and wiped his nose with a tissue Jed gave him. "Really?" His voice cracked at the end. I smiled sadly and nodded. I nudged Jed making him nod with me. Jed and I helped him up before patting his back then went to sit down at our table.

Mr. Johnson wiped his face then cleared his throat and faced the class. "Sorry about that class. It was unprofessional of me," he looked at the clock and sighed.

"Well there's only a couple minutes left of class so you guys just go ahead and talk quietly while I clean this up," he gestured to the broken frames on the floor.

I waved my hand and the pieces floated to the trash can. Mr. Johnson chuckled, "thank you Hope." He turned and wiped the board clean. "No problem sir," I smiled at him when he turned around.

He ran a hand through his hair. "Huh, I lost my cool there for a sec," he shook his head with a laugh. Everybody chuckled and nodded. A knock came from the door then it opened making everybody look towards it including Mr. Johnson.
