My True Love

Chapter 4

No One's POV:

The Mikaelson family rush into the infirmary. "We got here as soon as we could. Marcel and Kol even ran five stop signs and stop lights," Rebekah announces startling the people that are in there. 

   As soon as Hope's group of friends and uncle see them, they feel a huge amount of relief. "We're just glad you got here when you did, Mrs. Mikaelson," Emma replies from her spot next to the unconscious girls.

   The Mikaelson family nod and move towards their niece. Freya looks at the mark and recognition flashes in her eyes.

She hurries and pulls out a book that has a skull on the cover. She flips through the book before finally finding the page she was looking for.

    "Was this the creature you guys saw?" Freya questions as she turns the book around showing a picture of the weird creature they all saw last night.

"Yes, that's it. What is it?" Andrew responds worriedly as Freya's expression falls and a look of horror flashes across her face making the others extremely worried.

"What is it, sister?" Kol questions and Freya shows him making his face pale as he reads over the page.

  "Will someone please tell us what the hell is going on with my sister!" Jed snaps angrily from his position next to Hope's side, holding her hand.

   Lizzie calms him down by whispering soothing things in his ear and wrapping her arms around his shoulders.

   Kol and Freya frown sadly knowing that this is taking a toll on him because Hope and him are best friends hell siblings from how close they are.

  "That creature is called a Nightmare Wraith. It comes from dark magic. This particular Wraith infects their victims by a spike or spikes. It is literally in its name, it gives their victim nightmares. Dark and twisted nightmares," Freya explains with a wince since everything she's saying is literally what her niece is going through.

    "How do you know so much about it, Freya?" Andrew questions and she smiles in self hatred.

  "I've had to summon it once to infect a village because Dahlia ordered me to. She explained what it does and how it will infect the villagers," she responds clenching her jaw and Keelin rubs her wife's back soothingly.

   Rebekah moves over to her older sister and set a hand on her shoulder making Freya look at her. "It was not your fault, sister. Dahlia is to blame for that," she gently tells her making Freya give her a small smile.

"Wait, you said you summoned it, right?" Freya nods at Lizzie who clenched her jaw, "that means someone in this school summoned it here for a reason. And when we find out who, I'm so gonna kick their ass for hurting my best friend."

At the realization everyone's eyes widen. "I think the reason was for Landon because it took him. Since werewolves and vampires can't summon, we've narrowed it down to it being one of the witches. It can't be the twins or them because they all were with us when we were receiving a lecture from Mr. Saltzman in the grand hall," Kaleb spoke up pointing at Quinn's and Santana's friends who some are witches, werewolves, or vampires.

   "But almost everyone in the school was there. How are we supposed to remember who was there and who wasn't? We were a little busy listening to Mr. Saltzman," Mg comments with his eyebrows furrowed and Kaleb frowns at that. He didn't think about that.

"Before we get into that, boys. First we need to figure out how to help the girls. This is a matter of life and death for them," Freya announces making Brittany whimper and hold onto her girlfriend/mate's hand tighter.
