"Why does she have so many guy friends?" Jungkook complained as he plopped backwards onto the couch, though it wasn't nearly as comfortable as he had imagined it being. His head banged painfully on the stiff cushion—twice. He winced in discomfort.
Taehyung—his friend, and owner of said painful couch—shrugged as he shoved another chip into his mouth. "Why do you care? Wait—I take that back, we all know exactly why you care." He raised an eyebrow in Jungkook's direction as if daring him to deny it. He didn't, Jungkook was past the stage of denial.
"I just don't see why she needs so many guy friends, isn't one enough?" Jungkook said raising both arms in the air in question.
Taehyung rolled his eyes, though Jungkook didn't see. His crush on Jimin was starting to get a little pathetic. Taehyung was tired of all his pining. Sick of it.
"Look dude if you like her so much then just tell her!" Taehyung said in exasperation.
Jungkook harrumphed from the couch, "Maybe I will."
He didn't get why Jungkook was so infatuated over the girl. Sure, she was gorgeous, and smart, and funny, and kind—okay so Taehyung understood exactly what the appeal was. He wasn't blind. A girl with that many guy friends means she's honey to the flies. She attracted all of them easily with her charming charisma.
Jungkook was just another fly caught in the trap.

"What do you mean you use to hate me?" Jimin asked, it was the last thing she would have expected her boyfriend to say to her. To say she was shocked would have been an understatement. Especially considering everyone loved her, everyone.
Her boyfriend shrugged,"You were just—an obstacle I wanted to overcome back then. Okay, that didn't come out right."
Jimin laughed despite everything, he always knew how to make her laugh.
"You know what, now that you mention it, maybe that's exactly why I started to like you." Jimin pondered, lifting her legs onto his lap from their seat on the couch.
He raised an eyebrow in her direction, "What do you mean?"
Jimin shrugged, "Well, it felt like everyone was always vying for my attention. Honestly, I couldn't tell sometimes who liked me as a person, and who liked me because of my looks, or popularity, or—you get the idea." She cut off with the look her boyfriend was sending her. She had a tendency to excessively praise herself. It wasn't on purpose! But it ended up sounding like that anyways.
"You were the only one who didn't seem to be caught up in all this." She vaguely gestured to her being. Her boyfriend pushed her legs off his lap.
"Oh my god you are unteachable."
Jimin smacked him in the arm, "Hey! I'm not trying to learn anything from you."
Taehyung sneered in her direction, she stuck her tongue out back.
"You know you love me." She said.
"I do."

Jungkook couldn't really be all that devastated. Not when Jimin looked so happy with him. He hadn't seen that smile on her face in, well, ever. She was usually cheerful and happy, but the smiles these days were unlike any of her smiles he had seen.
Taehyung was genuinely glowing, and though tired to hide it, he was happier than he had ever been too.
He wasn't sure exactly when it happened, he knew Taehyung knew of his feelings towards Jimin, and Jungkook always thought he was lukewarm about it at best, so how did it amount to this? He wasn't sure.
