VERNON POV
I got charged with 14 crimes. I was angry, my blood started to boil. I can't even fight against my case. I hate Namjoon and I hate Y/n. I am going to be executed for all of my crimes. My whole crew got arrested as well. I am currently in my van with a couple of other guys down to the execution building.
NAMJOON's POV
Yoongi sent me a text letting me know that Vernon will be executed today at 2 pm. I smirked in victory. Today was the day that Y/n was getting discharged from the hospital. I walked into her hospital room and saw the doctor giving Y/n instructions about her medication pills that she has to take from now on. I felt bad for everything she had to go through so today I have a surprise for her. She still didn't notice me. Once the doctor left she looked in my direction.
Namjoon: hey, how are you feeling?
Y/n: Not too bad. I'm glad that you brought me here. The gynecologist said that I could've gotten a severe bladder infection or a rash. Thank you for everything. I also heard that Vernon is getting executed today.
Namjoon: yes. I am so happy, he deserves this after everything he's done to you.
Y/n looked down shyly and slowly fell quiet.
Namjoon: Look Y/n, I just wanna say thank you for everything. Thank you for keeping Aera and taking care of her even though I wasn't there. I love her so much. Thanks for giving me a chance.
Y/n: No thank you for helping me, for loving Aera and doing your part as a father, You were there for me when I was dealing with Vernon.
We hugged each other. I felt connected with Y/n. This journey was a crazy one. We've been through a lot. We packed up her stuff and picked up Aera and Jae from school and drove back to Y/n's home. That's where my surprise is being held. Once we reached her home we all walked into her apartment. Y/n looked around only to see the place empty.
Y/N POV
I walked into my apartment with Aera, Namjoon, and Jae. Only to find nothing in my apartment. I was freaking out. I thought that my stuff had been stolen. I looked towards Namjoon to see him smiling and being completely calm.
Y/n: Namjoon this isn't funny! All of my and Aera's stuff has been stolen!
Namjoon: Don't stress about it.
Y/n: why?
Namjoon: Because I moved all of your stuff into your new apartment.
Y/n: What?
Namjoon: Yes! I paid off all your debt and now you can live closer to me and Jae. It's really big. And guess what? Aera has her own room as well. So now you can finally go to that special school that you always wanted to go to and have a new apartment.
My face lit up in excitement. I jumped onto Namjoon and gave him the biggest hug. Soon after the room fell quiet and I looked at his face. He looked into my eyes, his dark brown orbs made me fall in love with him all over again. A couple of minutes later my lips pressed onto his. I kissed him with pure bliss. He brushed my hair to the back of my ear and we moved our heads savouring and loving every bit of it.
Aera and Jae: EWWW!
We stopped kissing once we heard both of our kids' disgust towards our intimacy. We looked at both of them and laughed. Namjoon set me on the floor and looked at me.
Namjoon: I've wanted to do this for as long as I can remember.
Namjoon goes onto one of his knees and pulls out a small box from his pocket. My eyes grew big.
Namjoon: Look, Y/n I know I'm not the best husband nor the best father. But ever since you left my life I started noticing how much I missed you. I miss how you would care for me. I love you so much and I would like to know if you could give me a second chance. I understand if you don't want to or if you need some time.
He opens the tiny box revealing a ring.
Y/N: You're right Namjoon. You're not perfect but you are a good father. I genuinely feel that you've learned from your mistakes. I cannot accept the apartment you bought. I'm sorry.
Namjoon: Why?
Y/N: Because I want to move in with you...
Aera and Jae: YAYYYYY!!!!
We all hugged each other. I kissed Namjoon and wore the ring.
( author: I just want to say that Namjoon and Y/n were never divorced. They were distanced from each other all those years. The reason why he's proposing is because they are getting back together as a married couple)
A WEEK LATER ( Y/N's POV)
I and Namjoon moved back in together after all this time. He started going back to work physically now. The kids visit Ji-Eun often. She looks after them when I and Namjoon want to be alone or when we need a break. She has been a big help. I quit my job at the strip club and now I am a full student in university. I am studying for child education so that maybe in the near future I could have my own children's daycare. And the new apartment that Namjoon bought me, we decided to give it to Ji-Eun as a token of our appreciation for her. She took care of Aera and helped us through tough times.
It was a Saturday night, the kids were asleep and it was just me and Namjoon alone in our shared bedroom. Let's just say that tonight is going to be really noisy.
