Chapter 4

Then, the fight started. Rin rushed forward, with his double at a safe distance, he then sent a large lightning bolt towards Mizuki in hopes of landing the first blow. Mizuki leapt into the air dodging his attack easily to the side, but she was soon held captive by Rin's quicksand which had formed under her landing spot. This earned him a growl from the girl, who struggled to get out, he then sent another bolt in her direction, but she was able to set herself free at the last second and the bolt only slightly grazed her, making her hair static.

She then got down on her 4, fully shifting into her Yang form, becoming one with the spirit. Her large claws were digging in the ground as she flicked her tail, leaping forward in his direction, only to meet a large dirt wall, which she quickly climbed over and landed right by his side.

Rin knew that if she managed to land a single blow on him it was game over, plus now in her Yang form Mizuki had control over the shades and dark magic, so he had a big disadvantage. Before she could land a blow on him, he quickly shot himself in the air with a powerful gust of wind and with that movement Mizuki took a few steps back to evaluate and make a plan to end the fight as quickly as possible, before she lost control of yang or before yin could wake up from his deep sleep.

She then saw his double on the edge of the arena, it was too risky for her to launch herself on him as Rin could easily kick her out of the platform after and win, so she quickly thought of a solution, using a move she had been practising in the last few months. She gathered a big quantity of dark matter on the edge of her tail and shot a beam of it towards the double, but it was quickly stopped by Rin who had put up a dirt wall in front of it again, which had been destroyed on impact but kept the double safe for a little longer.

But before Mizuki could shoot again she felt something wake up. The first thing that came to her mind was Yin, but before she could even process it, all 9 of her tails were out and she took her YinYang form, an overwhelming sense of power then overcame her, making her yelp in pain as her form became bigger and bigger, only barely maintaining herself controlled. The bracelets and the collar she had on were slowly becoming loose and cracked, at breaking point.

She shook her head after that, her illustrious white coat shining in the sun, as her vision became more and more blurry by the second, her consciousness slowly fading as her own power overwhelmed her body. This shocked her opponent who was now frozen stiff on the other side of the arena, confused and afraid of the amount of power irradiating from Mizuki, who was barely standing at this point.

She attempted to take a step, but it was too much, the bracelets broke as well as her collar and she let out a painful howl as she forcefully sat down her strength almost gone at this point. But she knew whatever her mother decided to do to her if she lost this fight was worse than passing out of exhaustion, so in the last effort to win, she got up and positioned herself on her attack pose which seemed to make her opponent's attention back to her and prepare himself for whatever Mizuki was going to throw at him.

But she did something unexpected, her last resort move that he was aware of, she took in a deep breath and as she exhaled a bright blue fire escaped her lips, speeding quickly towards Rin but changed course last minute and hit his clone, making him vulnerable for another attack, which he realises and decides to forfeit, making her the winner to the combat.

she then as an attempt not to pass out in front of her classmates, shrunk herself to her comfort form, in the size of a tiny cub, but it was pointless as her now tiny body hit the ground unconscious and now fully white, as Yang was more connected to her, it ended up passing out with her.

Wow, that was an intense fight! I can't wait to see what happens next, author doesn't let me read her notes T3T

We have been blessed with pretty decent sized chapters with this one and the one from last week cus our dearest was feeling quite inspired and ended up going crazy with the fight scene, I almost feel sorry for the main character bc I might've taken a peek at her plans for her and I would not like to be in her shoes ahah

At the moment she has a few extra episodes ready to be posted but with exams coming up, its good to have extra chapters so she won't miss out on posting for 2 whole months during exams as she needs to study hard. So we need at least 8 extra episodes that are ready to be posted at all times so she doesn't need to worry about that at least.

Very important too! she's considering making a sort of carefree book about my adventures with both my dads!! Would you guys like to see that? it wouldn't follow any sort of plot or have any drama on it, it would just be short stories of stuff I did as a baby, like my first day home, or adventures I had with my dads.

Also who don't know, the author has various Instagram accounts! @toxic_roses._ being her art acc where maybe you'll be able to see dear me for the first time! ( she will probably include it at the end of the latest chapter when shes finished tho) So totally recommend checking that out, even tho she has been kinda dead there and you might be able to contact her more easily on her RP acc lupe.eventing!
