It had been a few hours since Mizuki had passed out after winning her fight, her body was now back to normal and laid down in one of the beds of the infirmary, she had been out for a few hours now. The fight had taken a huge amount of stamina from her which she needed to recover, so a few hours of deep sleep were just what she needed.
Slowly but surely, she gained conscience once more, opening her eyes slowly due to the bright lights, it didn't take her long to realise what had happened and where she was, but she still jolted upwards, sitting down quickly and attempting to jump off the bed, to prevent showing any more weakness to anyone. She stopped mid sitting down however, she noticed her feet were tied up to the bed as so was half of her torso, this had intrigued her, to say the least, and she laid down again wearing a few voices behind the white curtain that surrounded her bed
"She's very dangerous! Didn't you see that fight? she demonstrated more power than half of the pro heroes I know and was still holding back. Her quirk isn't very hero-like either, sure she might've passed out, but if she trains her stamina more or lets go of her rationality she would be unstoppable Hisaki! Shouldn't we just send her home? it's not safe for anyone if she stays."
"Listen to yourself Yumi, you're talking about a student, we cannot give up on her just because of her raw talent and you know it. I'm not sending her home and that's final, Principal Mano agrees with me, we just have to teach her the right way. Nora didn't give up on you either when you were young and untrained like her now did she?"
"Her mother is the number 1 hero, do you really think she wouldn't train her daughter if she had this immense power?" Mizuki's whole body started to shake in fear when she was suddenly reminded of the training her mother put her through
"Plus, she clearly knows what she's doing, I've never seen anything like this Hisaki... I'm.. I'm afraid of her."
"Don't be like that Yumi, she's a student, not a criminal mastermind. We just need to lead her on the right path, seeing a young hero with such power, could mean long term peace. Things haven't been peaceful lately, you haven't heard it from me, but rumour out there is that Nagao Kaori is corrupted." 'mother is corrupted alright.' is all she could think before suddenly the white curtain was opened making her swiftly shut her eyes in hopes of continuing to listen to her teacher's argument.
"She should be waking up soon- Yumi, why is she all tied up to the bed like a maniac? I told you she is not dangerous, she's human like the rest of us, set her free." 'You're everything but human...You're one of us Mizuki, a spirit, and you know it.'
'Shut up, I'm human. Just shut up.'
'Don't lie to yourself... you're just as monstrous as we are, that is why you stole us all those years ago, you're a demon.. just like we are...'
'I'm human! Shut up, Shut up!'
"Shut up!" she yelled jolting up breaking her torso straps in the process, her eyes were wide and her pupil was as thin as a small vertical line, realising what had just happened and the huge mistake she had committed. Her eyes were directly on her teachers, who were very confused about what had just happened, the worry in then was visible after all she had just broken some very strong straps like it was nothing and yelled out of nowhere
"Well apparently the straps were useless" Yumi said, while half smiling at the student "I'm sorry I had to put you in those dear, you were quite unpredictable after the fight, so it was standard procedure to do that." 'Standart procedure my ass...' "Anyways I'll remove the ones who didn't come off and Moriyama sensei will go with you back to class if you're feeling well enough for that obviously."
"I'm fine." she said while looking down to avoid staring at her teachers who were obviously very uneasy about the whole situation
"Are you sure? we could always send you home for the day-"
"No!" she quickly looked up half panicking "I'm fine, sorry for yelling, just don't send me home. I'm not sick."
"If you say so dear" Yumi then carefully removed the remaining straps allowing Mizuki to get up, which she did, stumbling a bit in the process, because of her very shaky legs but she refused any help offered by either teachers to help her gain some balance
"Moriyama sensei, could you please lead me back to class now? I don't want to lose more classes than what I already did, I would go alone but I'm still not familiar with the school grounds so I have no idea how to reach class from the infirmary."
"yes, let's go then. I'll finish talking to you soon Yumi." He said while leading Mizuki out of the infirmary and into the hall
"Are you sure you're alright Nagao? It was a good fight, but you shouldn't let yourself get carried away like that and spending too much stamina."
"yes, I apologise for that, my quirk sometimes has a mind of its own, I'm still learning how to fully control them while keeping my emotions in check. Mom- Sorry I shouldn't have said that..."
"It's fine, I won't tell anyone, but remember to order the repair of your hero costume, some pieces broke during the fight."
"Thank you sensei, I will do that as soon as possible." and like that, they had reached the classroom. Mizuki wasn't looking forward to all of the questions she was about to get, but she couldn't afford to miss any other class or she'd be behind, which wasn't tolerated.
So taking a deep breath, she entered the classroom, and ignoring everyone who directed a word or looked at her, she went directly to her seat and sat down, getting ready for the next class.

That was it for this week! More of a filler chapter but still very important in the long run
Author has been trying really hard to improve her writing, by being more detailed and have a more fluid writing style but she isn't sure she's happy with the results yet, so expect some upgrades when it comes to the chapters!
Also, it's official, author-chan is making a second book! This one won't have a posting schedule and will be more chill and relaxed in terms of plans, unlike this one which was planned to the detail for months and will allow her to write more comfortably, making maybe some other fanfics or even a one-shot book filled with fluff cus she lives off that these days with many of your favourite anime characters from multiple fandoms.
The second book still has no name or plans, but author decided she had to make another one for the sake of her creativity who is taking a dive in the ocean atm, so ideas and suggestions are more than okay! she is dying to write some reader insert books so maybe that's what we'll get. Or maybe some ships? The point is it's a fanfic book but with the actual characters this time
She also has around 5 other original book ideas who aren't related to any fandom, tv-show, animes or anything of the sorts, but those will take a bit before showing up since they require a lot of planning ahead, which is the opposite of what author wants for her second book over here.
Also, she knows it's a small milestone but she wanted me to thank all of you for the 30 reads! honestly, she never thought it would get more than 5 views since it's not a very popular concept on this app, but it did make her super happy that some people were actually interested in reading her work! So both of us wanted to thank everyone for showing interest and giving author the fuel she needed in order to continue writing this story here. No plans for the comic part yet but if things keep going like this you guys can expect a few comic drafts soon! (aka after her school year + exams end)
See you next week!
