"You were staring at Mateo." She takes a sip of her coffee, looking up at me.

Two days.
It's been two days since I've seen her blue eyes twinkle every time she smiles or every time she looks my way and gives me a small smile. It's been two days that I've even smelt her or even touched her.
I've become such a mess, and so has everyone else. How did they get in? That's what we're still trying to figure out, and it's only one day till her birthday now and I know Igor won't hesitate to kill her off the minute it strikes midnight.
"I've gotten nothing, it just leads to a dead-end," Sebastian looks up from his computer meeting Gio's back which is looking out towards the window.
"She's still there, I know she is," I say, dragging everyone's attention from the table. "We just have to work harder, she wouldn't want us to give up." Val nods and stands up, making Gioturn around.
"I'm so sorry for the language I'm about to do but fuck your plan Giovanni, we need to fucking get out there and stop waiting around because we all fucking know that sitting here is not going to do anything and I don't know about you, but I am not ready to lose my fucking best friend because all we've done for the past two days is wait around like some dogs that are looking for their owners. We need to get out there and look for her, not just sit on our asses hoping the best thing will happen to us because let's be real here, it won't." Val finishes and Gio looks like he's about to fume but I stand up, silencing him.
"I didn't get to tell her I loved her yet, and I'll fucking kill myself if I didn't get there in time to be able to say it to her," Val smirks towards me, and Sienna and Diego stand up.
"She's too good to lose, I'd also never forgive myself if she happened to die in there," Sienna comments going over to stand next to Diego.
"Yeah, if she died then she would probably haunt my life and I'd like to live really peacefully," Diego comments now standing at my side, in a line with the rest.
We look down towards Luca and Sebastian and they both get up hand in hand walking towards us. "I'd really like her to come to our wedding," Luca says and flashes Sebastian's ring earning a hug from Diego.
We all look back to Gio who looks like he's about to tear up and I'm about to ask him what the matter is but he waves me away sniffling. "It's crazy, I had never imagined you all to grow together like this, I couldn't imagine myself losing my best friend or wife, that'll be hell. So, we aren't going to wait--" Sebstians phone chimes up and he pulls out of his pocket, eyes widening.
"Forget the speech you were about to do, I know where Mal is," My eyes widen and I reach back snatching the phone away from him to reveal a red dot over the country Russia.
"How the hell did she get there?" Valentina asks as we all run out towards the car with Gio slowly following behind.
"I'm more concerned about how the hell you got a tracking device on her," I ask while Gio presses the breaks, speeding off.
"I put one on all of you, ya know, just in case something like this happens," Sebastian shrugs but I don't have time to concern myself with that right now, all I care about is getting to Mal in time.
Or I hope we'll get there in time.
