INT. KRISTEN'S DINING ROOM - MORNING
Kristen chews on her cereal as she is in a deep thought about the mystery of the mirror. She stops chewing and there is a feeling of timelessness in the air.
A hand grabs her phone from the table and it is revealed that she is opening her contacts to call her mother. She stops herself from initiating the call and mindlessly stares at the wall. After a long pause, she recalls her conversation with the previous owner of the mirror.
KRISTEN
(slowly, emphasizing each syllable) I have learnt what's important in life..
She glances at her phone again and then at her cereal. As if her thoughts were announced, she (briskly - not the right word) gets up and walks over to the sofa. On her journey to the couch, she presses the call button.
INT. KRISTEN'S LIVING ROOM - MORNING
She puts herself at ease by placing her feet on the couch for comfort. As the phone rings, she nervously bites on her lip, but there is a hint of a smile from the joy that she knows she is going to get from talking to her mother.
MOM (ON THE PHONE)
Hi, Kris! It's wonderful to hear from you...
Kristen lets out a slight chuckle and closes her eyes.
KRISTEN
Hey mom, how are you?
