Too Close (Dream x OC)

17 ~ Normality

a/n sorry this is a short chapter 

I look up and see Clay staring at me, smiling.

We spend the rest of the day, wandering around the convention. Will never left my side.

It was nice to have my brother back. Yet at the same time, I wanted Clay.

The rest of the week flew by. I went to every convention until Sunday -last day-, it was fun. It really made me want to start playing again. 

Clay and I didn't speak to each other during the convention, as a precaution of Will finding out.

No one really suspected anything. Except for George. He keeps side-eyeing me throughout the week. 

The only time I would see Clay was when Niki had gone to sleep and he and I would meet at my hotel room door.

We spoke about what we are going to do about the house. The house that Clay was renting for Him, Nick, George, Karl, Alex, Will, Niki and me, to spend the rest of the summer.

At first, to Niki, I said that I shouldn't go but Clay had changed my mind in our late-night meetups.

"I want to spend more time with you Prim!" he constantly said. 

I gave in and am now going.

Will had also said he wasn't attending, Clay had asked him again during Will apologies. Will said he would think about it. 

During our meetups, we would makeout. He made sure that he was gentle with me, however, I could tell that he wanted more. 

I felt bad for not doing more. But it felt too soon. 

"You don't have to apologies, as long as you are comfortable" 

On Sunday  -the last day of the convention- Clay said it would be best if we hung out more on that day, so the people going to the house doesn't think there's tension between us. 

We spent the entire day by each other's side. It was nice to spend some proper time with him - even if there were others around. 

"So," Clay asks while leaving the convention, now in the car park, "Will are you coming tomorrow?"

"Oh shit", Will answered, "umm yeah I'll go"

I could tell he was unsure. He didn't seem to mind me being with Clay today, at least I dont think so. He was quite good at hiding his emotions - it's why our many arguments during the trip hurt and confused me a lot. 

Once we starting heading to our hotel Clay explained more about the house. He had already told me this information during our meetups in his attempt to bring me along. 

Basically, tomorrow midday we are leaving for a mini roadtrip -Clays words, not mine- and are heading to the house. 

We have the house until the end of August, but Clay said we can leave when we want. It's big enough to have everyone in their own rooms. 

However, there was some stuff that I didn't know. Like how he has had the house a week before the convention, and set up 3 streaming setups in the house so they all can stream.

It is now Monday afternoon. Phil, Kristin and the rest had all left to go back to England. I knew that I was going to miss Kristin, she gave me some really good advice about the situation. I wish she stayed. It's going to be difficult - hiding my and Clay's relationship - with Will breathing down our necks. 

We all booked out of the hotel together - as Clay can now be seen with the rest of the group. George, Alex and Karl went in Nick's car, while Will, Niki and I went in Clays. Before we went to the rented house, we stopped at Clay's and Nick's as they need to get a few things.

The car ride to the rented house was the best. Niki and I sat in the back of the car while Will sat at the front. The entire road trip we sang, laughed, took the piss out of each other. 

It was perfect.
