Eva's POV
I've had a very mundane day but I really couldn't care less because in a minute I'll be back home where I can rest my eyes and have peace and quiet. I'm currently in my last class of the day. The teacher is asking us what our favorite movies are. I don't really know what this has to do with helping better our education. If were being honest here I would have to say school is a scam because it doesn't help you succeed in life you just get debt and waste time that you could have spent doing what you please. This class is almost over tho then I can leave and finally have peace and quiet right?

Omniscient POV

"Everyone lock your doors and get under your decks. This is not a drill I repeat this is not a drill." The principal announced on the intercom. "Why are we on lockdown?" Eva wondered aloud. "Everyone pick a partner and get under your desks immediately" the teacher announced. So that's what she and everyone else did. She partnered with her best friend Laila and they stayed under a desk together. They were under those desks for at least ten minutes wondering why this was happening and if they would be okay. After the first five minutes passed they heard some bumping and shots fired. Then everyone just started freaking out thinking that they were gonna die. However, since Eva comes off as someone who is exceptionally apathetic Laila couldn't tell if she was ok or not and was just freaking out herself, so Eva helped her to calm down. Finally, the principal announced on the intercom, " We need all the students to go home now it is no longer safe to be here." "Why are only the students leaving and not the teachers this has been a exceedingly tense day so wouldn't the teachers like to leave," Eva thought to herself she just decided to shrug it off and get ready to leave. She said bye to Laila and went out the classroom.

Eva's POV
As I opened my locker I noticed someone lurking in the corner of my eye so I decided to hurry and leave. This day could get any worse right? I got my bag and started walking in the hallway of the school, almost at the entrance I heard something fall. I turned around and didn't see anything soo I kept walking a little bit faster now. I then felt something on the back of my neck. My breathing was starting to get hitched. I stoped walking and heard someone speak.

Omniscient POV

"You have three seconds to leave this building and never come back" the person behind her said. She thought for a spilt second and heard a warning shot. So she left and ran like her life depended on it because it did... Why that person spared her she'll never know. She probably won't even ever see them again. At least that's what she thought she would be ok, they wouldn't find her again right?

A/N: sorry if I switched the POV too much...hope you enjoyed the chapter
