Chapter 19 - Rhysand

Aelin's portal took us back to Velaris, just outside the river estate. I walked towards the door, Feyre once again limp in my arms.

"Rhys, where the hell have you been?"

Mor yelled at me as the door burst open and she began to run.

"Feyre, no, she isn't gone, is she?"

"No, she's ok, she just needs to rest."

"Rhys, where did you go?"

"Another world, Feyre needed to banish Amren's brother, or maybe sister I'm not sure."

"You've been gone almost a month; I was so worried" I laid Feyre on the bed then immediately got a punch.

"What the hell was that for!" I turned to see Mor's eyes filled with tears.

"You were gone for a month, a month with no word, I thought you were both dead or hurt or in danger! It was just like you going Under the Mountain all over again!"

I didn't let her carry on, I just pulled her against me and held her tight.

"Mor, time works differently in the other world, it's only been two days for me, I'm sorry I didn't tell you what was going on, I didn't know either."

"You two really do love shouting."

"Feyre, you're ok too." Mor pulled away from me and flung her arms around Feyre's neck

"I'm ok Mor, I'm sorry you were worried, we got dragged through a portal and like Rhys said it's only been two days, now where is Amren, I have a bone to pick with her."

"What has she done now?" Mor looked very confused.

Feyre pushed herself off the bed and we followed her downstairs, glancing at each other in confusion.

"You have a brother!" Feyre bellowed into the library.

"Watch your tone girl"

"I don't think so, not when your brother pulled me through a portal, demanded that I send him home and while doing so almost killed me!"

"Ok, that is not what I was expecting you to say at all, did he mention me?"

"Yeah, he called you stupid and weak, I was tempted to kill him instead of sending him back home, but I did as he asked because I wasn't too sure how to kill him."

Amren just looked back at her book

"Feyre darling, take a breath, Amren isn't to blame for her brothers actions."

She opened her mouth to reply but Cassian and Azriel burst in

"Where the hell have you been you bastard, oh hi Feyre."

She crossed her arms "We've been in another world banishing Amren's brother and by we, I mean I banished her brother, he just sat there because he couldn't do anything else."

Cassian whirled on Amren "Since when did you have a brother!"

"Since forever you insufferable bastard now go, I'm trying to read."

We all did as she said and sat in the lounge area on the other side of the house

"Well at least you are home and safe" Mor said as we broke into a bottle of wine.
