The governor of Rhaetia received the reply of the King of Noricum. He was not pleased at all. He did knew about a certain Jewish gang leader during the times of Tiberius till Nero who was known as a psychopath. Now he finds out that that man has a whole dynasty of hit men and robbers and they are active in the Alpine area and Northern Italy! He, however, is still troubled by that Altheus guy. He decided to discuss this issue with one of the priests at the temple of Saturn. The priest recommends the governor to approach fortune tellers to reveal things about this Altheus.

The governor didn't like the idea of getting involved with spiritual powers. He knows very well those forces are real, and also how dangerous they are. So he comes up with a plan to send some agents to a clairvoyant woman to inquire about this Hebrew.

The messengers returned to the governor.

"Excellency, we did as commanded and this is what the witch told us:
The man you are looking for is living in the country of the Frisians at the moment. He remains at a local city named Bavakila, which is governed by a local prince named Ynke II. The city is located about 8 miles from the Nabalia river. There's a small road from the Nabalia bridge to that place. At the western edge of the city there is a small village where a Roman veteran is living. In that village your man is abiding.

"Good" he is relieved "and this case and this meeting never happened!"

The men leave his office.

He calls in a military messenger.

"Gather a group of 10 men and go to Noviomagus Batavorum today. There you will pay for a chariot to bring you to the Frisian city Bavakila. The journey will take probably four days to Noviomagus and two more to Bavakila. When you arrive in the city lodge at the hostels over there and spy for a Jew named Simon. I'll hand over de documents to you when you're ready to leave. When you find this Simon, who calls himself, Altheus, you will arrest him and bring him to the detention centre in Noviomagus. He is a suspect in the raids that have happened past year in Rhaetia and Helvetia. I want an official report in Noviomagus as soon as possible! Go!"

Within twenty minutes a few soldiers came, dressed in common clothes, and they received the documents needed to pass the Imperial border, including contained false passports and an arrest warrant for Altheus Hebraicus. That same day the ten men left by chariots to Noviomagus. The journey took only three days, due to the speed of the horses and the few obstacles on the road. They rested at Noviomagus for two days before continuing to Bavakila. Within two days they arrived at the small principality.

The ten arrived in several hostels and lodged. They remained inactive for about a week, in order know their environment.
