Book 1 chapter 11

The mysterious people that were driven out of the pack that day all gather together, wearing their cloaks, and covering their faces. 

"We failed." One of them said in their deep voices. "We didn't fail." Says another one. "This is just a taste of what is to come. It doesn't matter if we fail. We are coming back, bigger, and more powerful." Another man said. Everyone looks ahead and bows immediately from who the man is. He walks in the middle, as all the men in their cloaks stay on either side, still bowing. "we strike, on the day of Nogareru. His powers will awaken, and I believe he will be in his weakest state, as he will not know how to use his powers. This does not mean we can just barge in their and attack. If the memory potion is given to him, he will be protected, and also in his most powerful state, yet he will be weak. I need a small group to hide in the pack house, disguised as pack members. Then take down whoever is in the way. You will make a way for us to enter, so we can finish them all, and capture the omega. WE WILL NOT FAIL." The man says. Everyone shifts into their wolf forms and howl, as the full moon shows through the branches of the trees.

Taehyung groans as he sits up in his bed, rubbing his eyes. he looks around the room and then gets up off the bed as his feet touch the cold floor. He gets his phone off the side table and looks at the date. "It's my birthday." he says nervously, as he bites his bottom lip, and taps his left foot on the floor. He puts the phone down and opens the curtains of his room. He goes out to the balcony and takes a deep breath in and then back out. He stays there before heading down to eat breakfast.

"There is the birthday boy." Jin says as Taehyung gets off the last step. "Happy birthday taehyungiiee." Jin says lovingly. "Thank you" He says with a forced smile. "Now today we have a really special day planned. We will hold a special banquet, for your occasion. Today is the day you find your mate after all." Jin says. "No please don't do anything like that, I'm fine I don't need a party." Taehyung says in a panic. "Nonsense, I'm doing a party for you whether you like it or not." He says. "Why don't you want a party anyways." he asks. Then realization hits him "Your not afraid of your future mate are you?" Jin asks. Taehyung nods slowly as his eyes stay on the floor. Jin sighs as he pulls them both onto a catch and sits them down. "I had the same feeling as you, and if you don't believe me just as Namjoon. He knows how scared I was, I couldn't even be in the same place as him." Jin says as he laughs at the old memories. "Eomma I can't do anything an omega does." Taehyung says as he lets out a painful sob. "It doesn't matter if you can't do certain things. Your perfect just the way you are. I'm sure your mate will think the same thing." Jin says as he looks at Jungkook who is standing in the corner, away from Taehyungs sight. His arms are folded and he leans against the doorway, in the shade as he listens into the conversation. Jin nods at Jungkook before putting his hands on Taehyung's cheek and wiping away the tears. "Your a very beautiful Omega, you should be proud." he says. Taehyung stares into Jin's brown orbs, with his own purple ones. He immediately hugs him as he starts crying, from both happiness and sadness. Jungkook takes a step forward as if he was about to comfort Taehyung But Jin signals him not to come closer. Jungkook looks back behind him and then walks back. After Taehyung calms down, Jungkook takes this as a sign to leave. "I feel better now" Taehyung says as he sniffles. He wipes the last of his tears away as he smiles up at Jin. "I guess all I needed to do was cry it all out. I think I'm ready" Taehyung says. "Ok" jin says as they both stand up from the couch. "Now go change your clothes, and let's eat breakfast." Jin says, and Taehyung nods.

Everything was ready for the Birthday celebration, but the guest of honor, was still a bit unsure. Taehyung sits on his bed as he feeds Starley tiny nuts. "Starley, Im so nervous, even though I was alright before." Taehyung says as he strokes her fur. "What if my mate has already found someone, and will reject me. Surely the Moon goddess wouldn't do something so cruel." taehyung says in fear. 

In Taehyung's Imagniation

He walks down the stairs and then the smell of his mate hits his nose. He gets off the last step, and then hesitantly follows the smell. It leads him to a man in a blue suit, holding a drink in his hands. he turns around as taehyung sent fills his nose. He examines him from head to toe, and then he hears a voice that makes him turn his head. It was another omega. they both stand together side by side, as they stare at Taehyung. "Sorry, but I already have a mate, so I Gwan Sang-hoon reject you as my mate." the man says. Both mates walk away leaving Taehyung standing there with a shattered heart.

Taehyung gulps at what he just imagined and then turns to starley. "Im sure that won't even happen. I'm not even sure we have someone in the pack named Gwan Sang-Hoon," taehyung says as he nervously tries to laugh it off. There is a knock on the door as the maids bring Taehyungs clothes for his Birthday party. It was a white top with white flower lace, and then another piece which was a long soft pink skirt with tiny beads embroidered on it. The omega puts the clothes on as he looks in the mirror with a huge smile on his face. The shirt fit right, and rose an inch above exposing a bit of his milky white skin. 

he exits the room and meets with his brother as they go into the main hall where the party was being held. Then it happens, the thing Taehyung was most fearful of happening. He smelled his mate. And it led him to someone he wasn't expecting. It led him straight to Jeon jungkook.
