Book 1 chapter 5

After a few hours Jungkook woke up with a giant headache. "Agh, My head!" He exclaims. One of the maids rush over towards him. "Alpha stay seated." the beta says while taking a bandage wrap and rapping it around his forehead. Jungkook holds his head as it throbs. He lays his head back down and asks "What happened?" Jungkook asks the maid. "Oh, young Mistress Taehyung....uhm well how should I put this...He hit you with a pan." She says hesitantly. "he what?" Jungkook asks, surprised as to why Taehyung would do such a thing. "It's probably best if I let the mistress explain, I will go call him, stay in the bed Alpha." The maid said before walking out the door. Jungkook was scared on how to start a conversation with him. Just by hearing Taehyungs name his heart skips a beat. 

After 5 minutes he could hear someone talking to one of the maids. Then the door slowly opened. Jungkook thought it was Taehyung so he sat up on the bed waiting for him to enter. But when the person entered it was not Taehyung, it was Jungkooks mother. Jungkook sighed and sat back into his bed while his mother walked over to him with a worried expression. "Jungkook, honey are you okay?" Jungkooks mom asks worriedly. "I'm fine mom.." Jungkook answered. "Do you need anything?" Jungkooks mom asked. "I want water." Jungkook said while yawning.  Jungkooks mom left the room to get him water. Just then Taehyung came into the room with a worried expression. Jungkook noticed that he changed his clothing from his night wear to a white shirt with jean like shorts with a black belt and a grey light coat that was left open on the front. "Jungkook are you okay? I'm so sorry I just go scared I didn't mean to hurt you." Taehyung said, tears threatening to escape his eyes at any moment. Jungkook got scared because Taehyung was about to cry so he said "I'm fine Taehyung it's ok." Jungkook said calmly. Taehyung still had tears in his eyes but he nodded happily. He was glad he hadn't hurt Jungkook in a severe way. Jungkooks mom entered the room with the water and got surprised when she saw Taehyung in the room. "Hello Taehyung dear." She said while handing Jungkook the water. 

Jungkook drank the water and put the empty gup on the night stand. "Hello Luna." Taehyung said while bowing and submitting to the Luna. It was custom to show respect to the Luna but since the Luna was an Alpha he had to bow and submit to her. "Taehyung dear please stop with the formalities just call me Ji-Yeon." The Luna said while smiling at Taehyung. "Yes, Ji-Yeon." Taehyung said while smiling and blushing a bit. Taehyung walked back towards Jungkook and puts his hand on Jungkooks forehead in attempts to check his temperature. "Jungkook your burning up!" Taehyung said. "Jungkooks mom checks his temperature with her hands and realizes he is burning up. "I'll go call the nurse." She says before walking out the door. Taehyung sits down on the edge of the bed while swinging his legs back and forth while waiting for the nurse. "So...Why exactly did you hit me with a pan again?" Jungkook asks. Taehyung blushes furiously while thinking back to the embarrassing moments. "Um well I thought I felt someone following me so I went into the kitchens and waited for the person to come in  with a pan inn my hands. But then the door opened and it was you and I panicked and I hit you before realizing who I hit." Taehyung said while looking away. This time it was Jungkook who was blushing at the fact that Jungkook was the one following Taehyung into the kitchens. It seemed like Taehyung didn't know so Jungkook quickly changed the conversation to make sure that Taehyung doesn't think too deep to find out that Jungkook was following him. 

"Taehyung, why do you always have that squirrel on your shoulders. I don't mean to be rude, the squirrel is very cute, I just want to know it's name." Jungkook said trying to change the topic, and the squirrel was the first thing he could think of. "Oh! Well I found her while helping one of the younger Omegas on his invention. He  thought he wasn't missing a piece until the squirrel came up to me with a piece in it's mouth. I thought she was cute so I asked my Hyung if I could keep it and he said yes. I decided to name her Starley." Taehyung explains to Jungkook with a cute smile and blush across his face. Jungkook thought he looked adorable. Taehyung looked up and caught the gaze of Jungkooks dark brown eyes. Both of them captivated by each other. They were staring at each others eyes until the moment got interrupted by a nurse and Jungkooks mom coming in. The nurse took the thermometer and checked hi temperature before writing it down. Then she gave Jungkook medicine and told him to go to sleep. "Luna and Taehyung I would advise you to leave, the young Alpha needs rest." She said while packing her medical bag. They both nod before walking out the door. 

Taehyung walks towards the living room and suddenly his head starts throbbing. He holds his head and falls onto his knees while screaming and holding his head with both of his hands. He starts crying from the pain and soon falls and hits his head on the table, knocking over the vase. Jin, Namjoon, Lisa, Jennie, Ji-Hoon and Ji-Yeon hear the screams and run towards the living room. Jennie runs up to Taehyung and takes him into her embrace. She tries shaking Taehyung but nothing happens. "Taehyung wake up! What happened!" Jennie says on the verge of crying. Namjoon sighs as he knows what is going on. "He is getting closer and closer to the day of Nogareru." Namjoon says. Everyone turns their heads to look at Namjoon. "What do you mean the day of Nogareru? What is that?" Jin asks. "Namjoon you couldn't possibly mean that Taehyung is-." Ji-Hoon says while hesitating to say the end of the sentence. Jennie and Namjoon look at each other, realizing they have to explain this to everyone. "Someone get a nurse first then we can discuss all of this. His head is bleeding from the broken vase." Ji-Yeon says while holding Taehyungs head in her lap. Jin calls for a nurse and they take Taehyung to an empty bedroom. Jin watches nervously as the nurse raps Taehyungs head to stop the bleeding. "So, your saying he was screaming and fainted?" The nurse asks while writing the details down on her laptop. "Yes doctor, h-he w-was h-holding his head and suddenly c-collapsed." Jin says in a shaky voice. The doctor nods her head and writes it down. "This could be because of memory loss. Usually when people lose their memories without knowing the memories start coming back slowly. But there is no clear evidence on how or what made the omega lose his memory." The doctor says. Just then the door opened revealing Jungkook in all his glory. 

"What happened to my mate?" Jungkook says in a worried tone while running over to Taehyungs bed. "Wait, hold on did you just say Mate?" Jennie asks him. Everyone turns their attention to Jungkook. "Jungkook what are you talking about mate?" Jungkooks mother asks. "Mom can we talk about this later?" Jungkook says while caressing Taehyungs forehead. Everyone nods seeing Taehyungs condition. They all leave the room and make their way to Namjoon's office to learn about what was going on. "So what is this all about. Does Taehyung have memory loss or something?" Jin asks Namjoon. Namjoon sighs and goes over to his desk and pulls out the same box with the memory potion. Ji-hoon walks over to Namjoon and takes a closer look at the box. "This looks like the boxes the first wolves used to make to send messages to the Moon goddess." Ji-Hoon says while carefully putting his hands over the box. "I think it's time to come clean." Namjoon says while looking at Jennie, Then at everyone else. Everyone stares at Namjoon with a confused look, and Jennie and Ji-Hoon brace themselves for the news. Jungkook stares at Namjoon wanting an answer. The atmosphere is tense and full of confusion. Everyone in their own mind, wondering  what Namjoon is talking about.
