I felt bored sitting alone, there were so many groups to get through and Miya walked off somewhere. I can't wait till I grow confident enough to tell him the truth, he's too precious to loose.
I look up to see Miya, but...
he was with some girl.
I'm not jealous or anything, I'm not...
Ugh this loser, why is she talking to Miya?
I need to focus on something else, I'm being protective of someone who think of me as a friend and no more.
Unless there's something I don't know that is.

Hmm if I was to tell Miya I liked him, how would he react?
I see the girl walking off and Miya turning to me.
I quickly look away to not seem suspicious or anything.
"Hey y/n!" He shouts from the distance as he jogs towards me.
"Heyy." I smile.
"What's up? Sorry I got caught up." He smiles back and tilts his head in curiousity.
"Oh, nothing why ask?" I say.
"You were glaring at me from the distance, I could tell something was wrong."
"Oh, sorry I was just day dreaming about something and my eyes just... got fixed on you." I tease.
"A-Ah is that so?" He hides his face.
"Mhmm." Was my response to his funny reaction.
Maybe asking him about the truth wouldn't be a bad idea.

"Miya?"
"Hmm?"
"Do you maybe like anyone?"
"Well, I think so..."
"What do you mean by that? It's a simple question..."
He looks up at the night sky as the moon light up the land in front.
"I like someone, but I'm not sure if they feel the same way,
what about you? Do you like anyone?"
"If that's what your answer means then I think so too, it's complicated to tell how they feel about me to be fair."
"How is it complicated?"
Soon, it was silent.
Just the cars passing.
"They don't usually talk to other girls, but earlier today I saw them talk to a girl I didn't recognise. I had a feeling they might be together and I didn't know anything about it."
"Oh... I went through the same thing once. I saw them talking to a guy. He looked much better than me. He was older."
...
"Wanna know something, Miya?" I say as I tilt my head towards him.
"What is it?" He responds.
"I've never met anyone who is better than you." I smile at the sky.
Silence...
"GAH I'M SORRY I REGRET SAYING THAT-" You wave your hands in front of your face as it grows redder than Miya's.
"I..." He starts but also covers his face, which muffled out what he said.
The only things you could make out were,
'i love'
"What did you say?" You smile and rub the back of your neck.
"Huh? You didn't hear me?" He smiles/
"Nope, repeattt..." You lean closer to his face.
"I love skateboarding, silly!" He smiles and looks away.
"I know you didn't say that, you always look away when you lie."
"Do I?" He laughs awkwardly.
"Yep! Now tell me the truth, who do you love?"
"I can't."
"why not?"
"I just can't, not yet at least."
"You know I can keep secrets, Miyaa!"
"Yeahh I know that, it's just that I can't tell you at a time like this."
"What do you mean by that?"
"The whole Reki and Langa situation."
"Oh right..."
"Yeah, if i tell you I feel like it will make things worse. That's if you don't agree with my choice."
"I will always be by your side, Miya. Tell me when you're ready."
"Thanks y/n..."
"Anytime!" I smile.
"Do you think you're ready to say your crush?"
"I think we should say each others at the same time if that makes you feel any better."
"I think that's fair. Maybe when Reki and Langa make up?"
"If they will yeah. If they don't, then we should tell each other when we're both comfortable."
"Sounds good."
You both smile at each other, it felt nice finally being alone with him in a quiet place.
You realised you were still leaning really close to him causing you to fluster yourself.
"No worries." He laughs as he rubs the back of his neck.
You got lost in his smile and didn't realise Cherry and Joe were glaring at you as if they were your parents.
"They're so cute!" Joe mutters,
"Shut up, will you?" Cherry responds.
You look over to the two and they hide behind a tree.
Stupid Joe, he didn't realise he's still completely visible to you guys...
