Chapter 27 || Year 5

A few days have gone by since school started. It wasn't the best start of the year since Umbitch, what most people have been calling the new DADA teacher wouldn't let us learn spells this year which was mental in her part.

I was making my way to the common room from a study date with george, not long ago i found out that charlie had a girl in romania i didn't bother me as much as I though it would, because if i'm being honest the feelings i had for him was a dumb school girl crush.

Not long after finding out george had been asking me on a date since the beginning of the year, i finally gave in.

I don't quite regret going on that date. It was quite fun except for the part where we got kicked out because George decided to prank the librarian, we are not allowed in there for the next month.

I woke up and checked the time seven i look around and saw that hermione wasn't in bed anymore. I got up and grab a pair of clothes and made my way to the restroom to take a shower.

After i was done i made my way to the dinning hall and took a seat in between the twins "Hello" said george "Hello George" i said back before putting some food in my plate "I heard you when on a date" tease Fred, i didn't bother answering him i just gave him the finger "Quite rude There Mary" he gasp.

"What are you getting at profesor" said a femenin voice  me and the twins made eye contact before heading out to see what was happening. We saw Mcgonagal and Umbitch arguing about how she has been taking care of those students that broke the rules.

"Who do you think might win?" ask Fred, me and george made eye contact "Mcgonagall" we both said at the same time. "Hey that's a George and me think" said Fred hugging George "Not for long" I joke.

Not long after I left to find Daniela and Leo sitting under a tree. "What are you guys up to?" I asked them "Not much" they answered.

"So Mary i have been wondering" said Daniela "Wondering?" "Who is lunny? you have been receiving letter from them since school started" she said finally making eye contact with me "Well she is a lady i meet during summer and since then we have been keeping in touch" i told her finally taking a seat next to leo.

"Aren't you worry you know, you just meet her and you guys are already this close, what-what if she is" she didn't finish what she was about to say "I thought of that trust me but something about that women feels familiar you know i feel at home with her" i told her with a smile. "Have you read the letter your father sent you" ask leo making me pause "No, its probobly something dumb" i told him.

A few weeks when by Umbitch did not waste a moment to take over Hogwarts she had been putting ridiculous rules over the past few weeks.

She hasn't been letting teachers teach student couldn't be there self's anymore, the twins had not been able to do a single prank without her appearing out of nowhere, Hogwarts started to appear more like a prison than a school as days went by.

I had also notice how the twins, hermione, Ron and other people had been disappearing i had ask them a couple of time but they would say they were studying or something, at first i believed it but now i was having second thoughts about it, and more now that george had cancel the past two dates we had i drop the subject because i didn't want to come out as noisy.

On my way to the common room I saw students gathering in the front "What's going on?" I asked a random Ravenclaw "Umbitch fire" she was cut when i saw who she was firing. Before anything could escalate Dumbledore came and stopped this nonsense.

We got dismissed.

I made my way to the common room i gave the fat lady the password and made my way inside to see the golden trio taking to someone in the chimney i try not to make a noise but somehow hermione still heard me "Marry" she whisper but Sirius still heard my name "Mary is that you" He shouted I ignore him and continue to walk "Mary please, at least read the letter" i heard him.

When I made it to my room I saw that artemis wasn't here so I made my way to my desk and opened the top drawer and look for the letter he had send at the beginning of the year most of the letter were from lunny we had been keeping in touch, I took out the letter and looked at it for a minute before opening it.

Dear Mary
It's Sirius
I'm so sorry, for what I said to you,
It's not true at all, I said that at the heat of the moment, Please...
Come back home during christmas
I miss you, I miss your loud music at 1 Am because you couldn't sleep, I miss your chocolate cakes that you would bake, I miss our singing battles, The pranks we pull on each other, But more importantly I miss you and I regret everything I said to you. I didn't mean any of it.

I readed it a few more times before crumbling the letter you don't get to apologies you old bastard, you saying sorry won't change a single thing not when your words cut deep in me you broke me" i took my wand out and look at the letter in hatred "Incendio" i saw the letter burn.

I didn't bother cleaning the small amount of ashes in the ground, I left the room and went towards Dumbledore's office.

When I made it downstairs I saw the golden trio was still there. "Tell your godfather to stop writing nonsense" I told Potter without stopping as I made my way to the door.

Once I made it he was already waiting for me. "Welcome back Miss Black" he said i gave him a nod "What are we working on today?" I asked, "We will have a duel," he said, my eyes widened. "WHAT!" I said in surprise "I would like to see how true Professor Flitwick's words are" he told me.

"Stupefy" he said

"Protego" i said in time shielding myself from the spell

"Protego, Incendio" this cause enough time to hide behind a bookshelf

"Confringo" the top of the bookshelf exploited "Crap" i hiss

I crawl to the next bookshelf but he continues to explode them "Mothertrucker" i whisper in annoyance.

"Accio desk" I shouted I heard dumbledore move as the desk behind him flew my way when it got right in front of me I grab it before getting on it "Levicorpus" he was quick to block it before sending a spell my way "Flipendo" he did not point at me but at the table making me go flying.

Before we could continue We heard someone shout "What in godric's name is this" both Dumbledore and Me look her way before turning to look at each other and gulp "Albus, Black" she sneer "Minne" i said carefully "What happen" she push "I wanted to see if Miss black was ready for advance dulling" he told her as he indicated me to leave.

I ran out of there all the way back to the common room knowing if I got caught detention would not be nice. Once I made it I decided against going to my room. I changed forms and made my way to the twins room. I shook George "Mary" he asked "Can i sleep here" i asked him he gave me a smile before opening his arms i took off my shoes and joined him in bed.
