Chapter 36 || Christmas

On my way home I felt numb honestly. I was too tired to process most of this.

I decided to take a detour before heading home.

The park where I met her for the first time, I went to the swing area and took a seat.

Honestly why is life so hard now a days, I thought

I stayed there for a while before getting up and leaving.

I made it to dad's house around 1 in the morning, I was careful not to make too much noise when I opened the door but with my luck it made a loud creak.

I Poked my head in first to see if anyone was in plain sight, luckily no one was, I took my shoes off and tippy toe all the way up the stairs, but got stopped by a large figure in front of me.

"Mary" I recognize that voice "Uncle Remus" I laugh nervously, he didn't answer he just guided me to dad's office before turning the lights on.

"Sit" he order I took a seat on the sofa, "yes?" I ask carefully.

"How are you taking everything?" he asked in a soothing voice.

We talk for a few hours until we both got to tire to keep talking

I made my way to my room, I haven't been here for almost a year , everything was were I left it, I was sure dad had given it to Potter, but guess I was wrong.

I check the time

"5:30"

Might as well get a few hours of sleep.

When i woke up i went downstairs to check who was here to my surprise dad and uncle remus they seem to be talking "Good Morning" this got there attention "Mary" uncle remus cheer "Uncle" i awkwardly said before taking a seat "Mary i will be heading to the burrow today care to join?" he asked "Um, i would love to but, i have plans today" i told him, there would be a meeting at the manor and i had already missed the last one i dont want to bring unwanted attention to myself.

"Oh, well maybe next time all see you then" he told me before heading out, leaving me and my father in a awkwards silence.

"Am sorry" he whisper

I didn't answer i had to idea what to say, a mer sorry wouldn't fix things in between us and i had a feeling he would choose harry over me in the future

"Am not hungry, i'll get going i won't make it to tonight" i told him before excusing myself

With that i left to the cafe before going in i made sure no one saw i turn into joseph, with that i made my way inside and got greeted by sonny "Joseph long time no see" he laugh "Indeed Sonny, can i get the usual" i told him as i took a seat "Where have you been, haven't seen you in a while?" he ask "Does stupid aouros had me on the raider so i had to keep in the shadows for a while" i answered him as i paid for my drink. He gave me a small smile

With that i made it to the manor
What did I miss" i asked zack "We are attacking" he told me I just smiled. I shouldn't have missed the last meeting. Who the hell are we attacking.

I shrugged it off and took a sit next to zack, a second later bella came in dancing and shouting guess she's in a good mood behind her came the dark lord,

"We are leaving in 5 get ready" said Bella in a sing-song voice, everyone got up and left.

I grab my broom and waited for everyone to get ready, I could feel the cold stare of Snape

I was with the few that would be attacking in the air instead of apperating I was still new to that.

We had been in the air for a few minutes waiting for the signal I hadn't noticed where we were until we got close enough

THE BURROW

My eyes widen

Uncle Remus Molly, Arthur

I looked around when I saw someone had started a fire around the burrow so they wouldn't leave am guessing.

"Get ready" someone shouted

I saw Bella apparate in front of the burrow before running off with Potter on her tail.

Dumbass it's a trap I wanted to scream

Remus and Tonks went after them but got stopped by the fire but Ginny didn't care she ran after him.

The others try to follow her but got separated

"Now"

10 of us went down and started to circle the order. Thanks to the tall grass they couldn't see us but they could hear us. They were in a circle with their wands out.

Bella was the first to operate away once she saw we weren't going to be able to get Potter,

One by one I followed her lead. I was the last Tonks and I made eye contact. I shook my head no before I myself operated away.

We all made it to the manor bella starred to throw things

"I'll kill them, I'll kill them when I get the chance, or I'll drive them crazy just like the longbottoms" she laughed.

Everyone just look at her scare to say anything

"Will get them next time I'll make sure to kill that Lupin boy" said greyback smirking

Yea" someone shouted.

"Once again you all have fail me" the dark lord spoke from somewhere

The room Instantly became cold

"You are all useless" to my left someone felt to the ground the life gone from his eyes

I gulp

"Each time you fail me I will kill one of you" I felt him appear in my left, his cold hand on my cheek, I felt my blood go cold

He turn around and look down at the dead body with his feet he moved the mans face before walking away,

Everyone let out a sigh,

I decided to walk around the manor before heading off to the house,

On my walk i saw daniela once she heard me she turn around "Joseph, what happen" she ask me i look around to check that no one was in plain sight when i grab her by the arm and when inside a empty room

"What are you doing" she whisper "Am sorry for not telling you sonner" with that i transform  back to myself "Mary" she said in disbelief
"Surprise" i told her "You...You dumbass you stupid git are you dumb you can get yourself kill for this why are you doing this" she shouted hitting me each time she spoke "oi Oi stop that hurts" i said as i grab her arms "Im telling you because you are my friends you git" i sneer, before i could speek i herd someone coming my way

Shit, I'll see you at school" with that i aperated away.
