Denki and I attend the rest of our classes, working through math and other things together throughout the day.

We finally get to leave, but we're ordered to find someone to spar with and train for an hour after school.

That's fine- Denki and I can spar with each other for a little while and then head out to shop for a little while.

When we heard of our new task, Denki and I looked at each other with the same eagerness, him giving me a little grin as we ran to the training rooms.

He and I changed before meeting on the mat, accompanied by a few of our classmates that stood to watch us try and best each other in a fight.

I begin to stretch and relax, losing myself in my thoughts as I try to remember tactics to beat him.

Our quirks have never really matched well, but I'm fairly used to getting little zaps from him from time to time. It's been forever since we've sparred- usually we get paired with other people or someone chooses the other person before one of us can.

I get jerked away from my deductions when I hear Denki teasing me from across the mat.

"Don't expect me to go easy on you just because you're a girlllll."

Aw, cute- I love the misogyny, babes.

He's being a dork, as always- standing in his fighting stance and making little hops on the mat like a cat waiting to pounce.

This fucking geek-

I hear Mina and Sero from the other side of the room cheer us on, Mina more in my favor while Sero is more in Denki's.

"Honey, don't let him talk to you like that!! Beat him up!! I wanna see the two ex-lovers duke it out already!!"

She giggles along with Sero, who begins to give Denki his little encouragement as well.

"C'mon Kaminari. Get to shocking!! I'll make Bakugou cook something for you if you win this one for us!! For the boys, c'mon man!!"

Just when I thought DENKI was the biggest dork...

"Alright, alright!!"

Denki calls over to them to calm their shouting as he and I walk up to each other, shaking hands in a little formal way before getting ready to beat each other up.

I can feel myself blush a little as he leans into my ear and whispers against my skin.

"You ready Sunshine?"

I brush off his question, trying to regain my sense of composure after he'd practically attempted seduction- whispering in my ear with a teasing tone.

AND used our old nickname- he's done it a lot more today... I wonder what's up with him.

I'm not complaining- he never really uses our pet names as much now. Maybe every once in a while in a testing way, just to get a reaction. He's been absolutely out of control with the flirting recently though- starting off incredibly strong this morning.

Not that it really bothers me much- he tends to be a pretty flirtatious person.

But to be THIS flirtatious with an ex.. It's a little suspicious, if you ask me. I mean anyone would turn their head at their ex being this forward and teasing, right?

Maybe he's just in a good mood...Of course it could be the exact opposite too.

He could be flirting as some kind of coping mechanism because something's on his mind or there's some kind of issue occurring... I would feel guilty if something were going on and I didn't know...
