"I am never swimming alone ever again." Xiao Zhan grumbled as he was holding tightly onto Wang afraid of letting go. They were still in the shallow water barely even reaching Wang's chest.

After what happened yesterday Xiao Zhan had refused to go swimming alone anymore. He didn't want what happened yesterday to happen again. Worse he keeps shaking whenever he thinks about the incident. It wasn't anyone's fault, a mere accident yet it scared him deeply.

He had already been on a life and death situation and he was thankful to have stayed alive but what happened yesterday nearly took his life if Wang hadn't been fast enough to save him.

"Wang thank you so much for saving me. If you were too slow I would've been dead. I owe you my life so we are actually even now."

"How?" Wang asked puzzled.

"We owe each other our lives." Xiao Zhan giggled making Wang smile slightly.

"Wang--" Wang Yibo cut Xiao Zhan off. He had been wanting the other to call him by his name and now he has that opportunity.

"Yibo. Call me Yibo."

"Is that your name?" Xiao Zhan asked surprised.

"Mm."

"You finally remembered your name. Yibo. It sounds nice. I like it." Xiao Zhan giggled before calling out to Wang Yibo a few times making the latter smile noticeably.

"Yibo."

"Hm?"

"Let's take a walk along the beach and look for shells. I don't want to swim for now." Xiao Zhan said as he tightened his grip on Yibo's neck. He was straddling him, legs wrapped around his waist tightly.

Wang Yibo didn't say anything but he nonetheless followed. Still carrying the boy in his arms he began walking along the beach while Xiao Zhan keeps looking around. Pointing at shells he spotted while Yibo does all the work picking it up then placing it inside the small bag Maria gave them earlier.

"Yibo. Do you think you'll leave me once you remember who you are?" Xiao Zhan asked as he looked over the sea, the soft wind blowing his hair. The question made him flustered so he avoided looking at Yibo's face.

"I'd rather take you with me than leave you." That made Xiao Zhan's face become even more red than they already were. His heart beating like crazy at the way Yibo's words struck him hard.

This was the first time he felt so attached to someone other than Zhao Lei and his family. It felt nice yet foreign at the same time.
It also made him feel loved and wanted. He found peace whenever he was with Yibo.

"Yibo."

"Zhan?"

"I... I think I'm falling for you." Xiao Zhan said as he quickly hid his face on Wang Yibo's neck perfectly hiding his tomato face from view.

The words stunned Wang Yibo for a few seconds. His heart was racing so fast he felt it would leave his body. He couldn't quite wrap the thought of Xiao Zhan liking him back. But who wouldn't believe it when they've only been with each other for nearly 3 months. It was too soon.

"How do you know that you're falling for me?" Wang Yibo asked making Xiao Zhan whine. He didn't want to explain such embarrassing things.

"Do I have to say it?"

"Yes." Wang Yibo said. He was determined to hear the words coming from Xiao Zhan himself. He wanted to know how he affects Xiao Zhan.

"Fine. When I'm with you I feel content, happy, wanted, loved. I feel like I finally found the missing piece of me. It's weird since we haven't known each other fully, I mean I only know your name, but your background, I know none of it. I felt so attached to you it makes me feel weird as I've only been attached to Zhao Lei, his family and Maria. You make me smile like never before, I feel so carefree when I'm with you, like I can anything with you by my side."

Hearing those words from Xiao Zhan made Wang Yibo's heart leap with joy. He already knew he love Xiao Zhan so hearing those things that he too felt with him made him really happy.

He gave Xiao Zhan a tight hug hiding his face which doesn't really show his blush but it's his ears he was intending to hide from view. He inhaled the scent he grew addicted to within 3 months.

"I like you too Zhan." He said, his voice dropping an octave making it sound deeper than usual. He finally made up his mind. He wanted Xiao Zhan in his life no matter what and he's gonna make that happen.

"Wha...." Wang Yibo silenced hik with a kiss. Their first kiss. The view behind them was  mesmerizing with the sun nearly setting. It was magical. Xiao Zhan felt sparks going off inside him, his tummy feeling weird, his heart practically wanting to leap out of his body with how fast it wss beating.

He slowly responded to Yibo's kiss, gently moving his lips following Yibo's lead.

"Well I hope you really let 
A-Zhan be with Yibo." Maria said as she looked at the two kissing couple on the beach.

"You know I can't change my son's mind once he already knows what he. He'll make world war 3 happen if I dare hurt Xiao Zhan or rip them apart marrying him to some girl."

"That's true. That boy never disobeys his wants. Always following what his heart wants and not you. I'd be surprise if one day he'll be following you and your orders." Maria adjusted the laptop she was carrying so Mr. Wang could see his son and his future son-in-law.

"Take good care of them Maria. Let Yibo know that he has only 2 months more to live a normal life here before he has to go back to being the heir of Wang Empire. I won't interfere with his lovelife but I want him to back to where he belongs."

"Don't worry I'll make sure the message gets to Yibo."

"Good." That was the last sentence Mr. Wang said before the video call ended. Maria sighed before shutting the laptop and looking back at Yibo and Xiao Zhan who's now laughing together.

A/N: So I was suppose to update My Little Mate this Saturday (031321) but that went out of the window as I'm pretty busy. Pictorials are going on, more activities and I still need to finish my capstone project and have a defense for my research.

I literally forgot the other roles of the characters in My Little Mate so I had to do a lot of backreading for it and sadly I can't do that for now. And exams are coming up again. Being a graduating student really is hard, but I have to pass for me to be able to reach my dreams.

Anyways stay safe everyone. Covid here in the Philippines had started to go up in numbers again as more people don't follow the rules much. So stay safe, use alcohol, always wear mask but don't throw the mask just about anywhere since I heard a news about masks floating in the sea which is really sad. So don't throw trash just about it anywhere.
