Hallucinations

~*~*~*Slender Man's POV*~*~*~

        I was finishing up running Jordan's blood sample and making small talk with her when she suddenly froze. Confused, I turned away from my computer screen and saw her gritting her teeth. I quickly rushed to her side to see what was going on. Is she in pain? Did something happen?
        "Child, what is wrong?" I asked, gently placing my palm on her shoulder. She jumped slightly and looked straight at me. Jordan ran out of the lab and into my office where she started to smell the air.
        "Someone, no, something, has broken through your barrier around the mansion and is inside. I can smell an animal..." She growled while stalking to the door. I quickly teleported in front of her to cease her advancements. She looked up at me and snarled.
        "Are you certain, Jordan. It could just be one of the residents. Perhaps it's just Smile, Grinny, or even Clea. Also, my barrier is-" "Of course I'm certain! I can sense them! I've been around long enough to know everyone's scent and aura to know that this one is absolutely different! Move so I could get to (Y/N)!" Jordan was trying to get passed me but I refused to let her go. I can't put one of my best killers in danger of the threat.
        "No, you will stay here. I can't put you at risk of going out there not knowing the strength or abilities of the being. I will make sure (Y/N) is safe." I gently grabbed her with a tendril and sat her down on one of the chairs in my office. She opened her mouth to protest but then nodded, allowing me to go alone.
        I nodded back and turned to leave when Jordan whispered, almost inaudible, "Don't let them touch her. She's all I have left..." Not being sure if she was addressing me or not, I walked back to her and kneeled down to hug her. I could tell I surprised her, but she wrapped her arms around me after a while. "I promise I'll protect her in your place. It's going to be okay, child." She nodded against my shoulder and let go.
        I straightened up and teleported out of the room into the lobby. Jordan was right, I could sense them, as well. It was no where near to be Grinny Cat's or Smile Dog's, but it did feel like Clea's when I first discovered her. It felt off... Could it be?
        Soft whispering could be heard from the upper level of the mansion. Originally, I thought it could be Sally playing past her bedtime with Jane until I heard a male's voice. Eyeless Jack? Shouldn't he be out collecting? How odd.
        I teleported into the hallway where Eyeless Jack's room was located and slowly approached his door, knocking cautiously. No answer. I knocked again but all that followed was silence so I carefully opened his door and peered inside. His room was empty and clean with an exception of a few blood stains here and there.
        "Jack? Hello?" Still no response. I walked out of his room, shutting his door of course, and walked further down the hall. I allowed myself to scan the minds of those nearby, hoping to find (Y/N) that way so I'm sure of her condition.
        "She's so cute. How did he even find her?" Bingo. I could teleport to her location by her mind if needed, but she didn't sound like she was in danger. But who is she talking about? Could it be... the intruder?! Is Jack with her?! I transported via mind immediately at those questions. I appeared outside of an old wooden door and finally found the source of the whispering.
        I slowly opened the door and bent through the doorway. Nothing but stairs leading to another door. "Why is she hiding... Wait, someone's coming?!" (Y/N)'s thoughts sounded like she was panicking. I teleported myself at the top of the stairs and threw open the door. It appeared to be abandoned but there was a plate of half eaten organs on the floor. I leaned down to study the plate,when I heard a small creak of the wood. I snapped my head to the direction of some wooded boxes and sent a tendril in that direction, grabbing what felt like a body.
        Perhaps it's a dead body that Jack forgot about. But the organs look fresh so he couldn't have fo- The body is moving. I pulled the person in my sight and saw a young female female who was whimpering. She looked ordinary except, she had features like Clea. Not the normal ones but the half being features. She was just like Clea, a hybrid. 
        "Another Hybrid..." I imagined the happiness on my daughter's face once she found out that she's not alone anymore. The neko gripped her tail and started to plead for someone, "P-Please, help m-me!" She started to reach towards my left. I glanced at who she was talking to and what I saw surprised me.
        "Jack? What are you doing in here? Do you know this girl?" I asked confused. Jack walked slowly towards the young hybrid and stroked her cheek softly. The girl relaxed a bit and leaned into his touch. "Jack? It'd be polite to answer when asked a question, young child. I will ask again if you'd li-"
        "Her name is Fawn." He answered quietly. I titled my head in a gesture to urge him to elaborate. Jack sighed and looked me straight on. "I do know her, Slender, and for quite some time now. Originally, her and I would meet in the woods to talk or to plan a killing spree but things have become... well, a little too complicated for that to continue. Fawn had accidently attracted too much attention in a nearby neighborhood one night and was nearly captured by a group of scientists that morning. She needed a place to hide until things calm down."
        "So you brought her here without informing anyone?" A small voice asked. I had almost forgotten (Y/N) was here as well. Jack looked at her and nodded slowly as he scratched the back of his head, clearly embarassed. (Y/N)'s face had gotten slightly red and approached Jack, but not too close. "You idiot! Do you realize how much danger she could have been in if one of the guys found her?! What if Offender had r-" She stopped herself as She meet Fawn's fear filled eyes. (Y/N) took a deep breath and closed her eyes. When she had opened them, they had flashed to their demonic form. It may have been only for a brief moment, but it hadn't gone unnoticed by Jack and I. Jack had gone stiff and took a step back away from (Y/N), reaching into his hoodie pocket for his scalpel as if she'd attack at any moment.
         Fearing the outcome of that possibility, I gingerly placed my hand on her shoulder. "Perhaps, you should let me deal with Jack right now, okay? I'm sure you have better things to do. Please, don't get agressive in my presence unless told to." (Y/N) nodded and tore her eyes away from Jack onto me. "Sorry, got carried away. I think Jeff wanted to see me, anyways." (Y/N) then turned on her heel and left us, slamming the door shut. I turned to Jack and saw him relax until I spoke.
        "She may have gone out of line but, she was on the right track." I passed him the young neko and turned towards the door. "Meet me in my office after dinner to recieve a lecture followed by your punishment. Do not make me wait, Eyeless Jack. That's an order." After that, I left back to my office where Jordan awaited.
