Chapter 1: A new friend (Part 1)

It has literally been a year since Diesel 10 had been sent away in disgrace, the engines have had to face several unpleasant situations in order to preserve the friendship and love of the group. Luckily, they managed to overcome those problems together. However, this would be another year for them. 

Summer was well approaching on the Island of Sodor, which meant more and more work for the engines. The mainline was especially busy! Gordon and Rebecca had to take more and more coaches for their express trains. Henry, James, Bear, Emily, and Azul, were busier with passenger and goods work! Even Boco had to come from the Brendam branch to help, but he could only do so much! Everyone was in big trouble! 

Sir Topham Hatt decided to take action, he decided to bring a new engine on trial from the Mainland. The engine was an LNER B12, painted in LNER Green with the number 8572 on her cab, and the LNER letters on her tender. Henry had been asked to meet her, the engine's name was Zooli. She looked very smart, Henry was impressed.

"Hello." Henry tooted.

"H-Hello." Zooli whistled nervously, Henry could tell she looked upset.

"What's the matter?" He asked.

"I tried talking to a big blue engine, but he just ignored me." Zooli puffed sadly.

"Oh, you must be talking about Gordon." Henry said. "I'm sorry about him, Gordon's not like that once you get to know him."

"Wow....It is a very curious name ... I like it" Zooli smiled at them ""I'm flattered but I don't want to be a bother to you. I see that you have a group of friends that has known each other for a long time."

"Of course not, dear! You are not a nuisance. You look like someone very nice." Henry said playfully. "And I don't care about rumors about you." 

"Well it seems we have a lot to talk about." Zooli said.

And so Henry began to establish a new friendship with the new girl Zooli. Will it be a friend or a foe? What new situations will come? Well, this is just the beginning of a new story with our favorite engines.
