I wish

I wish!
I wish I was a girl
Not all the time,
Just some times

I wish I could put on makeup
and actually look good
And hear people talking about how I look like a character from there favourite film or book

I wish I was a girl
With long luscious hair
That I could twirl around my finger
Whenever I feel scared

I wish I was a girl
So I would finally look good
In dresses and skirts
And pants and shirts

I wish I was a girl
With a soft squeaky voice
That sounds angelic
Whenever I sing

But I don't get to choose
Even though I wish I did
Cos every song I write for myself
Never sounds right
Coz it was written for someone else

I am happy being me but I wonder
How would I feel
living as the opposite gender
Would I feel happier and free to be me

I guess I do like being a me but
