I remeber

I am 17 and I would like to think
That school is still somewhat fresh in my mind
And I wish I could say that I learned a lot
But a lot of the knowledge I gained has now gone

But I still remember my first best friend
And how much they Made me smile
And how we would laugh to together for hours
Now ask us how we met and we'll both say different things
But one thing that I do remember is there amazing smile

Ask me anything about school and I probably won't be able to answer
But ask me about them and I could talk to you for hours

I also remember the first time I fell in love
And how it was never going to be
Because the person I had fell in love with
Was not in love with me

And I remember dancing on the primary school Field to the music in my head as if no one was watching
and I remember singing in the primary school choir and performing in front of the school

Yet I can't remember a single thing a teacher taught me

Well actually that's not entirely true ya see there is one thing that I do remember

One thing that an amazing teacher once said that's kinda stuck in my brain and that's

" the people you spend your life loving are the best teaches of all and if they teach you then you will teach them too so make it a lesson impossible to forget "
