Chapter 2 -

I apologise in advance for the extremely long chapter...

TILLY

I miss my brother Grayson. He was always good at things to do with cars, and now here I am stranded in England with a flat tire struggling to change it and he's over six thousand kilometres away. I know he taught me how to change it, but my noodle arms aren't strong enough.

"A flat?" A voice called from the back of the car and I internally groaned. Great, a complete stranger is going to see how pathetic I am. A stupid foreign girl who can't even change a tire on her own. "Need some help?" But that voice is familiar, which is odd since I don't really know anyone here. I used my hand to block the sun and I matched the voice with a face.

"Lando." I smiled, relieved to see a familiar face. Sure, I've only known him for around a week, but it's better than having to deal with a complete stranger and a flat tire.

I was just driving happily to college campus, actually looking forward to it, as I wasn't not completely behind thanks to Charles helping me nonstop for the last two weeks. I was blasting music through the car when it started to veer towards the right. I pulled off the road and just my luck I noticed the flat tire.

Charles had replaced George as my tutor role, it turns out Charles was incredibly smart, and that definitely came in use as I felt like I was finally catching up now.

"I'm not strong enough." I laughed nervously. I should probably go to the gym and work on building my arm muscles but hockey was my sport and that didn't require much use of my arms.

"Well, I lifted weights one time, so I'm probably strong enough." He makes a tiny muscle purposely not making a full one to dramatise the conversation.

I laughed in amusement. "You lifted weights once?"

"Just once, those fuckers are heavy." He smirked and I laughed no longer wanting to cry from the stress of not being able to fix my own tire. "Alright, let's see what we've got here." He stared down at the parts blankly.

"Have you ever done this before?" I asked. Grayson used to make me watch him change tires all the time so I would be able to change one myself. But he never accounted for me not being strong enough. Maybe I should lift weights?

"Yes." He continued to stare blankly at the parts I had laid out beside the car. He has no clue what they are but he's pretending he does. "Okay, no." He admitted setting down the lug wrench.

"I thought you were a Formula One driver?" I smirked in amusement the irony was hilarious, he drives cars for a living but doesn't actually know how to fix a flat tire. "Shut up." He rolled his eyes, a small smile showing on his lips.

"Okay, how about this. I talk you through the details and you use those muscles you got from lifting weights that one time?" I played on with his previous joke.

"Deal." Lando laughed. It took some time, but we finally got the flat changed. There was a nail in the flat tire, my guess is from the contractors who recently built our house.

"All that muscle work made me hungry." Lando sat back on his thighs once the tire was completely secure. "Want to go get breakfast?" He asked. I skipped breakfast this morning since I was running late, but rushing ended up being pointless since I wound up stuck on the side of the road anyways.

"I have school, and don't you have some kind of work meeting thingy?" I was already super late, so I don't see the point of going in now.

"I was skipping that anyways, my little sister was sick this morning so I stayed with her until my mum got off work. I was actually on my way to pick up my teammate and Alex for a meeting when I spotted you looking troubled." I think he meant pathetic.
