NOTE . Here's a clean sketch of Koemi in her PE uniform! I did two angles so you can (kinda) see what her hair looks like tied up. :)) (i'm not very sure why the image looks saturated though, i must've messed with the colors.. oops)

TWO WEEKS PASSED, just like that. It was now the day of UA's annual Sports Festival. The long-awaited event that all students of UA had to participate in.

Koemi's worries heightened tenfold at the thought of being televised in front of the entire nation. She wasn't confident that her training and abilities would be able to cover for her nervousness. After all, everyone would have their eyes on her when the situation calls for it. What if she messes up? What if she does something stupid?

Koemi warily looked around the room, seeing everyone in their PE uniforms and chatting among themselves. She stood close to Uraraka and Asui, both of whom were occupied with talking about the things they hoped to do during the event, and kept Koemi company while she dawdled at her spot.

She fiddled with the fingers of her left hand, as she always did. Her eyes then flittered toward the bandages that laced her forearms. A faint frown graced her lips.

"Does it not hurt, Himura-chan?" Asui asked, frowning at the sight of her bandages. "I'm worried that it does, kero."

Koemi simply shook her head and expressed the most comforting smile she could muster. "Don't worry, it doesn't," she said.

Her words were almost like cotton balls to the ears. Soft and ticklish, it brought a small, albeit concerned, smile on Asui's face in return.

With all of the things she'd observed about the peach-haired girl, how could Asui not worry? But it wasn't like she was going to pry; while she may be blunt about a lot of things, she would rather have Koemi would open up about her circumstances once she felt ready to.

The conversations were cut short by the sound of a door opening swiftly. Iida leaned into the prep room, capturing the majority of the class's attention.

"Is everyone good and ready?!" he exclaimed. "The event's about to begin!"

"Yeah, we're ready," Kaminari calmly replied, leaning against one of the tables.

So it was about to begin soon. Many students were riled up at the upcoming opportunity, while others felt more hesitant.

Uraraka reached out and grabbed Koemi's hand, feeling a bit nervous. However, it was clear that the latter was just as uneasy, or even more, from what Uraraka could tell from her trembling and frigid body.

When the girl turned to look, she giggled at the sight of her friend subtly vibrating at her spot. "You seem way more nervous than I am, Koemi!" she pointed out. Seeing her so visibly nervous made Uraraka relax a bit better.
