"This is my house." Max said while gesturing to his house. I walked towards the old, small house and opened the unlocked door.
"Why don't you lock your door?" I asked. "The lock is broken." He replied. I walked in the house to find food tabloids everywhere. I saw sticky notes peeking out of used tabloids and some of the magazines weren't even removed from the packaging. I walked into the living room to sit down but I found boxes of cooking supplies on the couch and floor.
I walked into the kitchen to eat to find a bunch of pots and pans in the sink and counters. "What do you do for a living?" I asked confused about all the cooking supplies. "I am a sales tester but I want to be a cook." He said gesturing to everything.
"I worked in the book store since I was laid off from my job but now I was called this morning they had an opening for me to test another new cooking supplies store. The store sends me supplies to inspect and decide how good the products are. I get to keep the supplies so I have to make use of everything the people send." He continued. I looked at the bedroom that has some cooking supplies in it. "What do you work as?" Max asked.
"Oh, I am in college still for Forensic Science. I am hoping to graduate soon." I replied. "How young are you?" Max asked clearly confused. "I am 25." I answered. "Wouldn't you be out of college by now?" Max questioned. "No, I am going for my Masters." I answered. "I was 17 when I graduated and decided to go into Forensic Science. I am close to graduating." I continued.
I looked around and saw a brand new pot laying on the window seal. I then thought of a wonderful idea for my last project. I wrote done the idea on the first piece of blank paper I could find and put the paper in my pocket.
"What are you doing?" Max asked looking at the pocket with the piece of paper. "Nothing, just writing down a little note for myself." I replied quickly. "How about we organize?" I wondered trying to change the subject. "Um okay that is fine with me." Max replied with curiosity.
I walked towards the pots on the ground that were out of the packaging and pushed them to the side. I looked up and saw shelves that were not used. Perfect. I picked up the unopened boxes and set them down in the kitchen. I gestured to Max to clean out everything but the unopened boxes out of the kitchen. I got a box cutter from a drawer and opened the boxes.
I saw the first edition of "Eating Away My Love". He has the first edition of the book I was dying to get my hands on for 6 years. I opened the clear wrapping around the book and saw it was in pristine condition. I looked in the box again to see the recipes in the book with the legendary mini cooking pans.
"Like it, do you?" I heard Max say, interrupting my moment. "Um... A little bit... Okay a lot but don't tell anyone about this obsession. I can't believe you got the mini cooking pots from when the main character decided to eat her food in smaller proportions. You have the book which I have been dying to get my hands on and you have the recipe book that I have been dying to get my hands on for so long." I quickly replied with a mix of embarrassment and excitement.
"How about you open another box if you loved that one so much." Max suggested. I opened another box and saw the classic book about love and cooking called "Love in the Kitchen." It was about a man chef falling in love with a woman chef of competing restaurants and the woman won't accept it.
I looked further into the box to find the special cutting board with the knife. It was a special edition cutting board and knife that was able to cut by itself if you attach the knife to a certain place on the board.
"I love it." I said happily. "Would you like to go out to eat tomorrow night?" He gushed. "Of course, I would love to." I replied trying to not to show my embarrassment/happiness. I walked out of the room and grabbed the remote. I pushed off all the boxes from the couch and laid down. I couldn't keep my eyes opened for long though.

"Sleepy, wake up." I heard a voice say. I reached out for a pillow and realized I wasn't at my house. "What time is it?" I nervously asked. "10:26" Max replied. "Oh no, I am going to be late for class. Any spare clothes I can where?" I quickly said. "I will go get some outfits, when is your class?"He questioned.
"It is at 10:45." I said. I ran to the bathroom and grabbed the toothpaste and put it on my finger. I put the toothpaste on my teeth and drank some water. I swished around the toothpaste and spit it out.
I ran to the bedroom to find some clothes laid out. I closed the door. I quickly changed out of my outfit and put on the plaid top with the blue jeans.
I look like a freaking farmer.
I open the door and grabbed my bag. I waved to Max and said thank you. I looked in my bag and realized I forgot my clothes. I tried to open the door but it wouldn't work and I finally decided to leave my clothes there. I looked at the time. 10:34. I ran to the bus stop and the bus just arrived.
I walked on the bus when I heard "Stop." I came to a halt and looked around to see the bus driver with his hand open for me to pay. I gave him a token and sat down. The bus went about 8 minutes until it stopped in front of my college. I jumped off the bus and ran to the building with the big sign above it. I bust through the gray doors and opened the doors to my classroom "G68".
I sat down just as the bell rung and I opened my bag to get my books out. You can never go to the mall unprepared. I grabbed my laminated homework and put it on my table. I looked to the front of the class and took my pencil out to write in my books.
"Today we are going to separate into groups for the last project. If you don't get a B- or higher, you will fail this class and will not graduate this year. If you want to be by yourself," My teacher said looking straight at me. "Be my guest. Just remember that if you don't succeed, you will not graduate. Am I clear, Bridget O'mary?" Mr. Spinx stared at me until I replied yes.
I wrote down my whole plan in my notebook when I heard some boys yelling "Nerd Squad!" right next to me. I ignored them and continued to write down my plan.
"Cooking Murder." I wrote down, it is a really cheezie title but I like it anyways. "Get the undergraduates from the police college and make them follow a plan." I quickly remembered to write down write another plan. I continue writing down my plans and by the time I wrote down my lay word class ended.
"Class, get your plans into action and by next month I want this project finished." Mr. Spinx said. "Class dismissed." As soon as I heard those words I took my phone and faxed my plans into it.
"Hey nerd," I heard an evil voice say. "You working on your little plan?" I looked up to see Jenna Shine. "Hey Jenna, are you working on obvious things?" I said immediately realizing it didn't make sense. "I suggest you take a comeback class, maybe it will help you a little bit." Jenna replied looking at my paper. "Give me the plans for your project."
I looked at Jenna in shock. "Never." I said grabbing my paper. Jenna looked at me and smirked. I turned on my recorder on my phone and stood there. "Give me your plans or I'll tell Mr. Spinx you stole it from me." Jenna said while I held my phone close enough for her voice to be heard.
"They are my plans Jenna Shine." I said holding my phone to me. "I'm sorry. Do you think I care they are your plans Bridget O'mary?" Jenna said helping my case by saying my name. I turned off the recording and picked up my stuff.
I held my paper in my hand and gathered up my stuff. "BRIDGET, give me your plans." Jenna said loud enough for the recorder at the front of the classroom to hear. I ran outside the classroom and walked to the Bus Stop.
I waiting for the bus for ten minutes and I grabbed my bus token to get on the bus. I hopped on the bus and sat down. I closed my eyes and waited for my stop.
