Chapter 7 the threat

I was training by myself the next morning. Jayden was watching me as I was training. That afternoon I had some special moves that I wanted to practice. "Jayden, I got some special moves that I want to practice." I said. "Anything you need." Jayden said before helping me practice the special moves that I want to use. Two hours later the gap sensor went off. There were a lot of moggers, but no nighlok. In the middle of the battle there was a voice that said red ranger over and over again. That's when all of the moggers went after Jayden. Jayden had a combination move that he has been practicing. Jayden used blazing storm which destroyed all of the moggers. Then the voice said red ranger you're in danger. After the moggers were destroyed we demorphed. "All right, can someone please tell me what the heck that voice was?" Mike said. "I never heard anything so evil." Emily said. "That wasn't just a normal nighlok, was it Jayden?" Mia said. "No, I think that was Master Xandred." Jayden said. "Master Xandred? As in the lord of the nighloks? You think he's back?" Kevin said. "Are you serious? Why would he be calling out red ranger, red ranger? Why just you?" Mike asked. "Guys, I have to talk to Jayden alone. How about you guys go back to the shiba house. We'll catch up with you guys later." I said. Then the others left. "Jayden, I bet that Master Xandred knows about the sealing symbol." I said. "What does that have to do with all the moggers coming after me?" Jayden asked. "You didn't know this, I helped dad in his last battle. I attacked Master Xandred when dad got knocked down. I was able to get out of the way before dad sealed Master Xandred. After that, dad died right in front of me. After that, I had nightmares about that for ten months." I said. "Wait, you witnessed dad dying!?" Jayden said shocked. "Yeah." I said. Then we went back to the shiba house. We went to go talk to the others. "Why were the moggers only after Jayden?" Kevin asked. "Jayden, Master Xandred must know." Mentor Ji said. "Know what? Are you keeping secrets from us?" Mike asked. "There is a secret symbol that can create a seal. The previous red ranger used it to imprison Master Xandred. When Master Xandred last attacked us, it was a surprise, and we were nearly defeated." Mentor Ji said. (Flashback: Master Xandred walks up to Stephen and Ariel while Ariel was in her wolf form. "Red ranger, you'll regret ever trying to mess with my plans. You and your family members are no match for me." Master Xandred said before hitting Stephen with his sword. Stephen goes down. "Get...away...from...my...dad!" Ariel said before she launched herself at Master Xandred. Right as Stephen was about to use the seal Ariel got out of the way. Stephen used the seal and Master Xandred took a direct hit and got sent to the bottom of the sanzu river. Stephen died right in front of Ariel. In the netherworld Master Xandred's ship sank. Ariel walked back into the shiba house and went back into her human form. She walked up to Mentor Ji and told him what happened. End of flashback.) "That symbol is how Jayden's father was able to seal Xandred away last time." Mentor Ji said. "So that means it's up to Jayden now?" Mike asked. "Yes, only members of the red ranger shiba family can use the seal." Mentor Ji said. "Guess that means you really are the man." Mike said while facing Jayden. "Jayden's father did everything he could to save us." Emily said. "Jayden, let's go." I whispered in his ear. We got up and walked out. "Jayden, Ariel, wait." Kevin said as Jayden and I walked out. "What's the big deal? Jayden just has to use his special shiba family symbol power to seal Master X." Mike said. (He means Master Xandred.) "It's not so simple. It takes unbelievable symbol power to make the seal permanent." Mentor Ji said. "Well, that doesn't explain why Ariel walked out too." Mia said. "When Master Xandred attacked, Ariel went out to help her dad but sadly, her dad didn't make it out of the battle alive. He died right in front of her. Ever since then, she has been going through a really tough life." Mentor Ji said.

"So, she saw her dad die right in front of her?" Emily asked. "Yeah." Mentor Ji said. They didn't know anything about that, I basically forbid Jayden and Lauren from telling them. I can't believe that I witnessed both my mom's death and my dad's death. I often find myself wishing that they were still around and that they would have stayed around for a long time but, because of me, they never did. "It's all my fault." I said. Then Master Xandred's voice came back to me from that day. (In Ariel's mind: You and your family members are no match for me.) "Master Xandred must be stopped." I said to myself. I felt like it was a threat. I had to do some research on it. After two hours I found out that the threat was that he was going to kill all of the rangers, even Mentor Ji, even though he is not a ranger. I knew that every single ranger has some kind of destiny, however the black ranger's destiny is the most dangerous one. The destiny of the black ranger is to protect everyone. I'm not sure how I knew that. I think either my dad told me or I just have always known that. I can't keep this threat a secret from Jayden and Lauren. I have to tell them, the only problem is, I don't know if they'll believe me. Jayden walked up to me to see if I found out anything. I told him about the threat and told him to tell Lauren. I was kinda surprised that they believed me. This threat thing is serious business. Master Xandred is the nighlok version of the dark one. Master Xandred better watch his back. Meanwhile in the netherworld the nighloks are making an evil clone of me and I don't know about it. It's almost like there's no rest for the wicked.

Back at the shiba house I was training with the others. They all have some special moves that they want to practice.
