Wanda's POV

I felt moving behind me, so I opened my eyes to see the lights on and Tony standing in the room, Gamora with her back against the wall and Hope laying between her legs.

"You're awake." Natasha gently said, Tony looking over at me with a small smile.

"I just woke up, but yes."

"Tony's going to draw some blood and get it tested to see if there's anything in your body that's not supposed to be there."

"I don't like needles." I whimpered, grabbing my girlfriend's arm as she looked at me with soft green eyes.

"You'll barely feel it. It's not bad. I'll be here the entire time. I'm not going anywhere. Okay?"

I moved my head just enough that Natasha would notice, my eyes trained on the needle in Tony's hand as he walked over to me and Natasha. He reached for my arm, but I yanked it away from him, Natasha inhaling a sharp breath as she realized how hard this would be.

"Baby, it's okay. You're only going to feel a pinch and then it's over."

I latched onto her tightly, my eyes screwing shut as Tony once again grabbed my arm, his hands lightly touching it. My breathing intensified as my anxiousness went through the roof, my nails digging into Natasha's arm as Tony stuck the needle in my arm. I yelped as tears escaped my eyes and dropped down onto the t-shirt that I was wearing. Natasha rubbed my back slowly, Tony letting go of my arm as I sniffled.

"It's over. See, I told you it would be fine." Natasha whispered in my ear, her thumb moving to my cheek as she wiped away the tears that sat underneath my eyes.

"I want to go to the conference room. I want to see the rest of the group." I quietly murmured, my head coming off her shoulder to look at her face.

"Wanda, I don't think that's a good idea. Your leg isn't fully healed yet."

"I don't care. I need to get out of this room." I stated, my body already moving to get out of the bed beside Natasha.

Natasha stepped sideways to stop me before speaking.

"Okay, just wait a minute. You can go because you've obviously made it very clear that nobody can stop you. Just let me help you to the room at least. You can't walk there without help. You'll get hurt even more than you already are, and I don't want that."

I let out a deep sigh, my eyes staring at the door as she lightly grabbed my hands.

"Fine."

She smiled at me as I rolled my eyes in frustration.

"Hey, I know you don't want help getting around. Nobody wants that. It's not your fault that this happened. The only thing you can do is accept the help you're given until you can do things on your own again." She voiced, my blue orbs shooting up to look at her eyes.

"True." I simply said, her hands wrapping around mine as she pulled me up.

"So, are we going to the room?" Hope asked suddenly, scaring Natasha as I giggled at her reaction.

Gamora yanked Hope backwards by the arm so that Hope was standing directly in front of her.

"Yeah, it make take a while though considering the circumstances." Natasha replied, Gamora nodding as Hope just smiled brightly.

"That's fine. I know that everybody will be happy to see you. They've been talking about you for the past few days. They were pretty worried." Hope said with a grin as I chuckled.

"I'm glad to see them too. It's only been a couple of days, but it feels like way to long." I responded, trying to take a step but failing as my right leg gave out.
