Wanda's POV

"Wanda, you hungry?" Carol lightly said as she brushed hair out of my face, Gamora rocking me and her back and forth despite the number of hours that had passed since Natasha had left the room.

"No, I'm fine." I lied as Gamora nodded at Carol.

"Get her something. She needs to eat." Gamora said with a sad smile.

Carol nodded as she walked off, grabbing her phone from her pocket. She sauntered into another room separated by the glass, Valkyrie right behind her as Carol dialed a number for something that I assumed was for pick-up.

"I don't need or want anything."

"Yes, you do. When's the last time you ate something?"

My mind went blank at her words, my brain struggling to find an answer as I thought about lying to her instead of just saying that I didn't know. Gamora picked up on it because she quickly responded to her own statement.

"Exactly. You don't know. You need to eat something. The last time I saw you eat something was three days ago and I don't remember anyone bringing anything to your room, or Natasha coming out of the room to get anything."

I opened my mouth to say something, but closed it looking like a fish as I didn't know how to respond. Carol walked into the room, now off the phone as everybody looked at her.

"We're getting pizza. I got a shit load of larges, so it'll be enough."

"But-" I started, Gamora cutting me off.

"Wanda, I know that you like pizza so kindly shut the fuck up. You ate pizza like four days ago and you were stuffing your face, so you'll eat it."

I just stared at her wide eyed as Gamora got up, yanking me with her. I stumbled on my leg, grabbing Gamora's arm for support as she put her hand over mine keeping standing up.

"You got it. You can walk. Take a few steps." Gamora said in a soft voice as I nodded in response.

I walked forward, my legs feeling completely normal as I let go of Gamora and walked around the room.

"You seem fine to me." Carol stated with a smile as Natasha walked into the room, her eyes almost blank and dull as she looked at something in the air.

"Natasha-" Steve started, Natasha shaking her head with tears in her eyes.

"I'm sorry. I didn't think about it. I'm sorry if I made you scared. I just didn't want you to go into the room because I don't like seeing you so sad and scared. I shouldn't have left you in here. I-"

Natasha was cut off as I sprinted up to her and jumped up so that my legs were around her waist. She took a deep breath, her hands moving to under my thighs as I hugged her tightly my head resting on her shoulder.

"It's fine baby. I think I'm okay now. I don't really know, but now you're here so everything's better." I said as my big blue orbs stared at her light green ones.

"I love you so much." She whispered, lightly pressing her lips to mine as my arms laid around her neck.

Natasha slowly put me down, her forehead now laying against mine as tears left my eyes, her orbs following the tears.

"Why are you crying?" She quietly asked me, the pads of her thumbs moving to below my eyes as she wiped away tears.

"I don't know." I whimpered, burying my face in Natasha's neck as she pulled me close by my waist.

"We're going to figure it out. I'm going to help you. You're not alone. You need to start by eating whatever we're having for dinner."

"I don't-"

Natasha put a finger on my lips, silencing me as I rolled my eyes slightly.

"You're going to eat. That's final."

The doorbell went off almost immediately as Natasha's finger fell from my lips.

"Food's here." Carol announced, bounding over to the door and taking the pizza boxes while handing the delivery person a tip.

She bounced back into the room, putting all the pizza on the counter as half the group shuffled into the kitchen while the other half stood in the conference room as they would probably just steal food from the others, but were all friends so to us it's normal.

"Come on." Natasha said as she lightly tugged me in the kitchen and opened the box closest to her.

She grabbed a slice, jerking her head at the pizza as I shook my head in response.

"Wanda..." She warned, grabbing my wrist as I tried to walk out of the room.

"I'm not eating." I softly said, lightly pulling on my wrist in her grip.

"Yes, you are. I'm letting you leave the room until you do. Here."

Natasha grabbed a piece and handed it to, my hand reaching out hesitantly as she smiled.

"Please, just try. I know it's hard. I used to do the same thing. If I didn't eat for a couple of days I would get really hungry, but then it would go away without me realizing it, even though I hadn't ate anything."

I simply nodded as I slowly ate the pizza, Natasha glancing over at me during conversations every couple of seconds. I reached for another slice making Natasha grin and go back to her conversation. When all was said and done, I had ate about half a pizza. Carol, Valkyrie, and Thor were having a competition to see who could eat the most pizza and Thor was losing crazily enough. Thor stopped eating, groaning as Carol and Valkyrie kept going, almost everybody watching the two of them. I walked up behind Natasha, my arms wrapping around her waist as my head rested on her shoulder.

"I love you." I whispered in her ear, Natasha jumping a little as she hadn't noticed me.

"I love you too." She responded, lightly kissing my lips as my eyes closed.

I pulled away, my eyes not opening as my head drifted to her shoulder and stayed there.

"Do you guys mind coming to room? We all need to discuss something." Steve said, looking around the room at everybody's confused faces.

Natasha slowly turned around, as I was in between sleep and being awake and she didn't want to mess with me.

"Wanda, we have to go to the room. They need us to talk about something and you need to be there."

"Fine." I huffed out, Natasha grabbing my hand as we walked into the conference room and stood beside Gamora, Hope standing in front of her with her back pressed against Gamora.

"Let's get down to business. We need to find the stones and keep them away from Thanos." Steve started, Gamora snorting as Nebula just stared at him with a straight face.

"What are we going to do if he gets them? He's already powerful and him getting the stones would result in all of the galaxies being destroyed." Gamora said in a serious tone as her grip tightened on Hope's waist.

"That's why we're going to make sure that he doesn't get them." He said, his eyes searching the room for a minute, but landing on me as his finger pointed in my direction. "You."

"What?" I questioned, confused as he nodded to himself.

"You're powerful. You're one of the most powerful ones out of all of us. You're going to play a major role in this."

"What about Carol? She's just as strong as I am."

"Exactly. That's why you're going to be working together. Thor, you're with them."

"What about Vision? One of the stones is literally in his head." Bruce said, Vision staring intently at Steve.

"He'll be protected."

For some reason at his words, my mind flashed to the memory of my brother, Pietro, dying. My lip slightly quivered as tears filled my eyes.

I was supposed to protect him. I didn't. He died because I didn't protect him. It's my fault. He's dead because of me.
