Wanda's POV

Me and Vision had to stay in Scotland for longer than expected, but it was fine because keeping him safe was what mattered. The last few years we actually didn't have to be here. I chose to stay because I felt dangerous to my friends, and Vision stayed because he refused to leave me by myself. We thought that we were safe. We were both wrong.

Vision grabbed his head as I looked through a random book that I had found.

"Vision? Is it the stone again?"

"It's as if it's speaking to me."

I cocked my head to the side, looking at him with interest.

"What does it say?"

"I don't...I don't know. But something."

The stones color got brighter as I slowly moved the palm of my hand towards the stone.

"Tell me what you feel."

Red light emitted from around my hand, my palm making contact with the stone. It felt normal. It didn't feel like anything was trying to warn us. My face contorted to a confused expression as I looked at him.

"I just feel you."

He nodded as I stepped back and looked out the window. Vision walked away and started towards the door.

"Where are you going?" I asked, Vision turning around to look at me.

"I thought we could maybe explore the town before I have to go."

"Let's go then." I sighed out, mad that Vision had to go the back to base because they needed him.

I couldn't go with him. I was too dangerous, and it wasn't safe for people to be around me. We walked out of the hotel, Vision walking directly beside me as I looked around at the shops. I shivered as a gust of wind blew through the streets, my hands going up to pull the beanie I had over my head down lower. I wrapped the hoodie I had on tighter, the smell of Natasha going to my nose as I lightly smiled. I missed her so much that it hurt.

"So, there's a 10 a.m. to Glasgow to give us more time together before you went back." I started, Vision stopping to look at me with an expressionless face.

"What if I miss that train?"

"There is an 11." I replied back, confused of what he was trying to say.

"What if I miss all the trains. What if this time, I didn't go back?"

"You gave Stark your word."

"I'd rather give it to you." He softly said, a smile appearing on his face.

"There are people who are expecting me too, you know. We both made promises. I-"

"Stay. Stay with me." Vision interrupted me, the look in my eyes softening as he spoke.

I looked down at my hands, my head moving to the left as something caught my attention.

"Or not. If I'm overstepping..." He trailed off, looking in the same direction as me.

Through a window in a kebab shop, we could see a TV showing coverage of New York, the alien antagonists, and the disappearance of Tony Stark.

"What are they?" I whispered, fear lacing my voice as I hugged the hoodie tight to my body.

"What the stone was warning me about? I have to go." He responded, turning to say goodbye.

"No, Vision. Vision, if that's true...then maybe going isn't the best idea."
