Wanda's POV
The sound of somebody barging open the door to our bedroom woke me up instantly, Natasha's arms still wrapped around my waist as she mumbled something incoherent under her breath.
"Sorry for waking you guys up, but we need you in the conference room. It has to do with Vision." Carol quietly said, my eyebrows furrowing as I realized that no light was shining through the window in the room.
Stars could still be seen in the sky as moonlight made beams around the room. I moved around in the bed, Natasha grumbling as she yanked me backwards into her front.
"What time is it?" I softly asked, Carol walking into the room as she leaned against the wall.
"It's about 3 in the morning." She replied, my eyes squinting in the dark as I tried to figure out how she was so awake so early in the morning.
"Why are still awake though?"
"I never went to sleep. Some of us were discussing the stones and how we were going to get them. Then Vision came up in a conversation and now we need to talk to you about something. Meet us in the room when you're up. I recommend bringing Natasha with you."
Carol smiled lightly at me as she walked out of the room, the door still open as I looked at Natasha's sleeping figure.
"Baby you have to get up. I know it's early, but they want to talk about Vision with me and you're coming to."
Natasha groaned and buried her head further into my neck, her lips barely parting as I sighed out.
"Nat, please get up. I know you don't want to, but you don't need to change or anything. I just need you to be in the room."
She moaned out making my eyes widen in shock as she blushed harshly under my gaze.
"I didn't mean it like that, Wanda. I'm just really tired and that was in between a groan and whine so that's what came out."
"Natasha, it's fine. Just please get up so we can go."
"Fine, but you're buying me donuts for breakfast tomorrow or later today if I want them." She dramatically said, my eyebrows raising as she waited for a response.
"Okay." I grumbled, Natasha smirking as she grabbed my hand pulled me from the bed.
"Let's go then." She replied, acting fully awake as if she hadn't been pissed of earlier about having to get up.
I tightened my grip on her hand, Natasha noticing as she gave me a light kiss on the cheek.
We walked down the hallway hand in hand, approaching the conference room rather quickly. The doors opened automatically as we walked through them, a couple people in the room including Gamora, a sleeping Hope, Carol, Valkyrie, Steve, Bruce, Vision, and Rocket.
"So..." I trailed off, not knowing what they wanted to talk to me about.
"Vision needs to go to Scotland." Steve spoke after a couple seconds of silence.
I scrunched my eyebrows together, my head slightly tilting to the side as I looked at Steve.
"What does that have to do with me?" I asked in a confused tone.
"You need to go with him. There's others looking for the stones and it'll be too obvious if we keep him here. Scotland is far enough away, and you'll be safe. You're powerful enough that if something happens you can protect him."
"But what about Nat? I need to help you guys look for the stones if it's this important."
Steve shook his head as Natasha sighed out, her grip tightening on my hand.
"Wanda, it's fine. You can go. I'll be okay."
I nodded my head as I turned to looked at Steve again.
"When do we leave?" I sighed, Steve answering me immediately.
"You can leave in about an hour. He needs to get there as soon as possible."
"I'll pack some things." I replied, walking out of the room as Natasha followed me silently.
I walked into my room, fumbling through drawers and barging into my closet trying to grab things quickly. I noticed that Natasha hadn't moved from her spot by the door, so I turned around to look at her.
"There's something wrong, isn't there?" I asked her, Natasha staring at the clothes in my hand.
"I don't want you to leave." She quietly said, her eyes beginning to water.
"I know, but it's only temporary. I'll be back soon. I promise."
"But I'm going to miss you." Natasha softly said, crossing her arms over her chest as I hugged her tightly.
"It's going to be okay. I'll be safe. The chance of something happening is less than one, Nat. I love you, okay?"
"I love you too." She murmured, her arms wrapping around me as she kissed my forehead.
"I need to pack now, Nat. I know you don't want me too, but I have too,"
"I'll help."
Natasha pulled away from me, grabbing a red and black duffel bag that was sitting in my closet. She grabbed some sweatshirts and a beanie that I had, folding the sweatshirts and putting them in the bag as she threw the beanie in right after. I grabbed some sweatpants from one of my drawers, handing them to Natasha as she tossed them in the duffel bag. A grabbed a pair of ankle boots, putting them in the bag along with a couple of short sleeve and long sleeve shirts. I reached for a hoodie that was hanging in my closet, but Natasha stopped me, shaking her head.
"No, I'm giving you one of my hoodies to use. I want you to at least have something of mine until you get back."
I smiled at her as she ran out of the room, returning a couple of minutes later with a maroon hoodie in her hand. Natasha handed me the hoodie, my hands moving to put in on immediately as the tower was cold and I was wearing a short sleeve shirt. Natasha ran to my bathroom, grabbing some essentials that she knew I would need, throwing them into the bag as she zipped it up.
"You're good to go."
"Thanks. I'll be back in a couple of weeks. We can call and talk to each other when ever we want to. I can still contact you, Nat. It's not the end of the world."
She pouted at me as I laughed at her. I rolled my eyes as I grabbed the bag and tugged her out of the room, returning to the conference room.
"Well, that was quick." Gamora stated, Vision already in the room but with a smaller bag.
"You guys ready?" Steve asked, my head nodding in response.
I turned to Natasha, hugging her tightly as Vision walked towards the door.
"I love you. I'll be back before you know it."
Natasha let a tear slip from her eye before she composed herself once again, wrapping her arms around me as I dug my face into her neck.
"I love you, Wanda."
I tightened my grip on her for a minute, her muscles relaxing in my grip. She pulled away after a minute, allowing me to go out of the room with Vision.
"I'll see you in a couple of weeks."
I waved at everybody as I followed Vision and Steve out of the room. Steve led us to the hangar located on the ground level of the base. Our plane was black and looked like if we needed to go fast or invisible we could.
"I'm flying so it won't be a rough ride." Steve said, climbing up the stairs that led to the inside of the plane.
Vision and I glanced at each other, unsure if this was a good idea. He just nodded as she reached his hand out to help me up the stairs. I took it hesitantly, my duffel bag slung over my shoulder.
This is going to be fun.
