Monday Morning

I woke up that morning still smiling from the other night. I turned on my phone to get a cute text from Ty. I rolled on my belly and texted her back.

Ty: "Goodmorning Gorgeous. Hope you are having a wonderful morning."

Me: "Aww, thank you. You are so sweet (; "

I put my phone down and went into the bathroom to take a shower and wash my hair. Hopping out the shower I put on sweat pants and a blue and white stripped fitted shirt that showed off my hourglass. I put my hair into a bun and grabbed my phone. Placing it into my pocket I raced to the busstop. Just in time too. I walked up those stairs... to see a familiar face.

I looked away and sat in the back. But no, she just had to follow.

"Hey bae." Nikki said.

I ignored her. Like I always try to. Nikki was my abusive ex.. Now everyday she tries to get me back. Saying she will change, I know it's all bullshit. She's a stud. Shes taller and a lot stronger. I wasn't as strong as she was. One time she punched me so many times I blacked out. Then she realized what she's done. She still never learns from it though. I couldn't do it. Eventually after I ignore her she doesn't try to talk to me until the next time she sees me.

The bus pulled up in the parking lot of the school and i walked off. She followed me though. I sighed and raced to my locker where my friends were. As soon as Nikki saw me with them she scurried somewhere else.

"You alright Mel?" Aaliyah asked and looked at me.

"Yeah. She was really bugging me. Why can't she leave me alone???" I pouted.

"Damn, I don't know." She put an arm around me.

"Um... where did Amber go?" I asked..curiously.

"No idea. But hey I have to get to class. See you at lunch." She kissed my cheek and raced to her class. I did the same.

Just right when I was about to get in to the classroom, the bell rang.

"Damnit!" I mumbled to myself.

The teachered turned and saw me.

"You are late, ms.martinez" She said with a straight face.

"I'm sorry." I said, sitting in my usual spot.

A new person walked in. I wasn't actually paying attention until the teacher said the name Ty.

"Class we have a new student. Her name is Ty.
