'What?' was the first thought of a slumbering being. Something was off. The being was fully conscious. (Y/N) or the being were banished by Rex Lapiz. (Y/N) was one of Lapiz's adepti and helped protect the yellow lands. Originally (Y/N) was a person with electro powers but then Rex Lapiz gave him immortality and a new job, to protect Liyue. In Other Words you could call (Y/N) a adeptus. There were a few other adepti but (Y/N) never paid any mind to them. (Y/N) was serious about his job.

Snapping out of his trance (Y/N) was brought back to reality. (Y/N) was in a tent. He wonders who dares to move him from his resting spot. Speak of the devil and he shows. A blonde boy with braided hair peeps his head into the tent. The boy looked overjoyed and told (Y/N) to, "Stay put because you don't look like you're in good shape.". When the boy left (Y/N) rolled his eyes and started getting up. Only to be met with a sharp pain to his left side and a splitting headache. Memories started to resurface reminding (Y/N) what had happened previously.

-Flashback-

(Y/N)'s emotions were spiraling out of control. Who knew that befriending humans would give you trauma. He watched all of his human comrades die. Most of old age but a select few were killed on the battlefield. (Y/N) no longer wanted to be immortal. He wanted to be mortal again so he could witness life in all of its glory.

(Y/N) stormed over to a spot in the Liyue where he knew Rex Lapiz would be lounging around watching his nation grow. Lapiz was like a father figure to (Y/N). (Y/N) had known him for millennia. Probably before the war too. (Y/N) was right. Lapiz was just sitting there watching the golden land. It has been millennia after the war. Lapis was still probably thinking about it like it was yesterday. (Y/N)'s plan was to ambush the god. (Y/N) was absolutely pissed off at Lapiz for giving him immortality. Contrary to (Y/N)'s opinion now, (Y/N) used to love the idea of immortality. It's just that now he has watched generation upon generations of friends pass and he hated it. Rex Lapiz was sitting on one of the mountains that overlooked the Liyue harbor. While (Y/N) was in the same area just on a tree above Lapiz.

(Y/N) jumps down and tries to shove Lapiz off the cliff. (Y/N) might have thought that he was sneaky but Lapiz already knew of his presence for a while. So in retaliation Lapiz takes his polearm and bonks (Y/N) on the head with it. While (Y/N) was disoriented Lapiz took his polearm and pinned it to (Y/N)'s neck. Rex Lapiz didn't want to deal with a crazed adeptus so he banished (Y/N) to Wuwang Hill. In the process of being shoved into a mountain (Y/N)got impaled by a satagmit. Now it's time for (Y/N)'s neverending nightmare filled slumber.

(Y/N) shook his head clearing it from past memories. He exited the tent only to be met with the blaringly hot sun. It must have been mid noon because the sun is usually never this hot in the morning. Looking back down he saw that same blonde haired kid. Except he was with this little fairy thing. The fairy thing pointed at him, getting the blonds attention. The boy perked up and smiled at (Y/N). The boy also patted the log next to him as an offering to sit next to him. (Y/N) shook his head declining the offer and instead sat on the floor.

The blonde boy started his introduction "Hello! I'm Aether and this is my emergency food, aka Paimon. I'm an advedture form Mondstates adventure guild and don't intend on hurting you.". Paimon huffed at Aether but perked up at Aether giving her food. Aether offered (Y/N) some sweet madame. (Y/N) took it and started to dig in. They all sat in silence for a bit. Probably because the noisy emergency food fell asleep. Aether closed his eyes for a bit enjoying the moment. Only to hear shuffling.

He immediately opened his eyes and saw the stranger jumping off Wuwang hill which overlooked qingce village. ""Wait!", Aether shouted, hoping to get the stranger to stay. Aether felt a piece of paper on his lap. He looked down hopefully. Only to be met with parchment that has the words 'no' and 'get a life' on it. He sighed and slumped his shoulders. On the bright side the mysterious stranger did have a divine feel to them, so maybe he would see them around this strange world.

(Y/N) was determined. He was going to go to Rex Lapis and ask them to put him back to his slumbering state. So to get an early start he jumped off of the cliff with those two strangers on it. (Y/N) was thinking about Aether. Something was off. He felt otherworldly and that made (Y/N) feel threatened. When (Y/N) landed he was met with ruins he remembers theses. Oh it was such a nice little peaceful village. Just kidding it was a military operated village. That place disagrees on everything. This made (Y/N) wonder how long he had been in slumber for. He walked down the ruins and saw monsters here and there. He wouldn't waste his time on destroying them right now. He did see a ruin hunter. Man did he hate those guys. He remembers when people were trying to figure out how to manufacture them. He further down the ruins and saw a path. (Y/N) was starting to regain his sense of direction and location. He now knew exactly how to get to that dumbass mountain that overlooked the harbor. Except he now has to face a new challenge. Everything looked different. (Y/N) realized that he was on the path to Bishui Planes. He was excited to see what people would do with the giant tree there. In the distance he could spot...
