A few days after Jared and I's date, he came home super early, like while the kids were still at school early, and said, "babe, let's really start focusing on planning the wedding! I wanna marry you like yesterday," with that big goofy moose grin on his face.

I smiled and put my book down then said, "I feel the same way but, how come you're home so early?"
He said, "we had to be to set at like 4 this morning because it was mostly night stuff and then I don't know, we got done early for once and so I'm home early. And on my way home I was thinking, 'why aren't we married yet?' and I felt like part of it might've been because I wasn't trying enough so here I am."
I laughed and said, "okay. Thanks for wanting to make more of an effort. When do you want it to be?"
He smiled his big goofy moose smile again and said, "as soon as possible."
The smile on my face grew even bigger as I said, "do you still have the contacts of the people you used from when you married Gen?"
He said, "I think so. If I don't, Gen should."
I said, "okay! Ummm, if everyone pitches in then we'll need like 2 months."
He pulled out his phone and said, "okay so... July 10th?"
I picked up my phone and said, "okay. I'll call the girls and get them over here and then we'll all need to collaborate and figure out who's doing what."
He said, "okay. And I'll write down who I can find or remember that helped with Gen and I's wedding."
I said okay as we kissed and Dee picked up the phone then said, "hello?"
I said, "hey! Jared just came home from work and we figured if we get started now then we can plan the wedding in like 2 months sooooo can you get your butt over here?"
She laughed and said, "yeah but it's basically time to get the kids from school since they're out early today. I can bring them over after though. And get the other 3 too."
I looked at Jared as I said, "okay and thanks but I think Gen's getting the kids today," and he nodded.
She said, "okay! I'll see y'all there!"
I said, "okay! Love you!" then we hung up and I called Gen.
I made similar phone calls to Gen, Tonia, Nay, Shaz, Shoshannah, Erin, and Kim and they all said they'd come over, though Vicki said she was busy working.
When they all got here, the kids went in the backyard to play while Jared, the girls, and I sat in the living room to divide tasks. I had a notebook open and on one page was everyone Jared could think of; on another page was the list of tasks on one side with the other side to be filled in with names of who was doing what.
