Adrien's POV
The next day at school I was desperately trying to find Marinette because I kept wondering what she was going to tell me. Except she didn't show up to school today. Lila was being super clingy and wouldn't go away even after I told her to F off. Ugh when is she gonna realise that I'm not interested in her. "Heeyyy Adrien I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me after school?" Lila asked.

"No I don't like you so just please go away." I replied

"Fine but one day you'll be mine." She said with a psychotic tone, which really creeped me out btw.

School ended later and I wanted to go to Marinette's bakery to see if she was okay. I got there and said hello to her parents. "Hi Mr and Mrs Dupain-Cheng I was wondering if Marinette was okay because she didn't show up to school?" "She's okay thank you sweetie she's just a little bit sick you can go and see her if you want she's just upstairs in her room." Her mum offered. "Thank you Mrs Dupain-Cheng." I replied. Then I went upstairs and saw Mari lying on her bed crying. "Hey Mari it's me Adrien, are you okay?" I asked. "Y...yeah I'm good." She answered. I could tell she wasn't okay even if she said that, her eyes were puffy and her hair was messed up. Still she was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. "Are you sure because you're crying?" "Well the thing I wanted to tell you about yesterday was that I actually really liked/like you especially in sophomore year, you were always so nice to me and considerate about my feelings (much better than Luka btw) and then when I saw Lila and Chloe flirt with you I was just really sad and I thought that you would rather be with them than me." She poured out. SHE LIKED ME!!!!!! Even when I wasn't like this. "R...really y...you like me?" I asked. "Yes why wouldn't I your sweet, kind, caring, considerate, the fact that your cute now is just an added bonus." Wow she really liked me for me. I just kissed her then and there, it was amazing sparks burst into the air and fireworks sounded in the distance. I knew in that moment that I would love her no matter what and she was the one for me, that she was the love of my life. Even if she left me I would still love her.
Marinette POV

I just poured my heart out to him. Then he just kissed me and it was amazing sparks flew and I heard fireworks in the distance. I knew I loved him with all my heart.
