Chapter 13

ZOEY POV

I've been taking a lot of breaks and going into stores to use the restroom. I finally made it to LA. I can't believe it. I walked to LA, and I actually made it. Now all I have to do is surprise Jacky, Juliana, Nash, and Cam. First I'm going to my house with Jacky and Juliana.

I walked and walked and then went into their neighborhood. I saw my car. I couldn't take it when we were leaving for Rhode Island. I went to the front door and knocked. Then I quickly hid behind a bush next to the door.

They opened it. "Huh?" They said confused. I jumped out. "Boo!" I said. They screamed. "OH MY GOSH! ZOEYYYYYYY!" They yelled and hugged me tight. "Heyyyyy!!!!" I said excited. "Oh my gosh! What are you doing here!? I thought your mom and dad would never let go of you!" They said. "I escaped." I said.

"You what?!?!?!" They said.

"I escaped. I got so tired of getting bullied in Rhode Island so I escaped." I said. They glanced at my wrist. I pulled on my sleeve with my hand so they couldn't see the cut.

"Don't tell me you-" I said and cut them off.

"No. Never ever." I lied. They grabbed my wrist making me wince in pain. They let go fast.

"Okay! Okay. I cut." I said looking down at my wrist.

"Whyy!?" They said. They grabbed my hand and rolled my sleeve up revealing my cuts.

"Oh my gosh. No no! Why did you do it?!" They asked.

"I don't know. I was just so upset that I couldn't be with you guys anymore and Cam and Nash." I said.

"Promise me you won't do it again?" They said.

"Promise." I said. They hugged me again. I was so happy I was back.

"You guys wanna go surprise Cam and Nash?" I asked them.

"Yeah! I heard that they moved in together." They said excited.

"Cool." I said. I left my suitcases in the house and we walked outside. I looked at the view.

"Hey wanna take a selfie with this sunset?" I said and laughed.

"Yeahhhh." They said. I got my phone out and we all stood close together in the picture. I fixed my bun and took a picture. Juliana was doing the duck face, Jacky was smiling with her eyes shut, and I had the biggest smile on my face. This time my smile wasn't fake. We all looked at it and agreed on it. I decided to post it on twitter.

After the picture we ran to Nash and Cam's house. I was so excited to see Nash. I love him so much.

"Now Zoey. We have been meaning to ask you a question." Juliana said.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Do you like Nash?" They asked. I stayed silent.

"Do you?" They asked.

"Maybe." I said and laughed.

"Aweeeeeeeee!" They said. I smiled at the sidewalk. I didn't want to look up because I'd turn red if I did. We finally made it to the house.

"Okay. Zoey we're gonna knock. You hide behind that bush and come out when we say that Zoey's dead." They said. I laughed and nodded in agreement. They knocked. Then he answered it.

"Oh, hey." Nash said.

"Nash we have to tell you something really important." They said.

"What's up?" He asked putting his hands in his front pockets.

"Well...Zoey's uhhhh...dead." They said.

"WHAT!? NO NO NO NO THIS CANT BE HAPPENING." He yelled. Then Cameron saw me behind the bush. I put my finger over my lip. He nodded.

"Dude. We didn't need her anyway. She wasn't worth it." Cam said.

"DUDE! HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT!!" Nash yelled at him.

Just then I came out behind the bush in front on Nash.

He looked at me for awhile. "Please tell me everyone can see Zoey." He said pointing at my face. They burst into laughter.

"Yeah Nash. We can all see her. We were pranking you." Jacky said.

"OH MY GOSH!" Nash said and picked me up and spun around. I laughed. He put me down and Cameron walked up to me with his arms out. I hugged him tightly and smiled.

"I'm glad to be back."
