Chapter 17

ZOEY POV

Today. The day I have to ask Cameron to hang out. For some reason I was actually more nervous than usual. When I was going to ask Nash I wasn't so nervous, but today I was sooooo nervous. It's probably because Cameron's kinda the bad boy. He's so sweet though, maybe he's changed. Today it's a snow day. There is about 3 inches of snow and it's still snowing A LOT. Just then someone called me. I looked at my screen and it said 'Nash 😏😎' with a cute picture of him.

I pressed the green button.

"Hello?" I said.
"Hey Zoe!" Nash said. "I was wondering if you were free today?"
"Oh...um-"
At this point I was stuck.
"I'm sorry Nash I have plans." I said.
"I understand maybe another time." Nash said.
"Sorry again bye!" I said.
"ADIOS!" Nash said and I laughed.

Bummer but I have somewhere to go. I went upstairs and got ready. I didn't want to get too stylish because we're just hanging out. So, I put on blue tight skinny jeans, a colorful tank top, my black vans and my hair in a messy bun showing my blonde highlights.

"Wait." I thought to myself.

"What's wrong?" Juliana said overhearing me.

"Doesn't Cameron live with N-Nash." I said with my eyes wide opened. Juliana and Jacky's jaw dropped.

"I totally forgot!!!" Juliana said.

"Oh no. No no no no no." I said with my hands on my head and going to the couch. "This can't be happening. I need to find out! I want to find out now." I said.

"You know, usually people know right away who they like and they don't have to find out themselves." Juliana said.

"I know but...what if you like two guys and they both are so funny and sweet that you just can't choose." I said putting my head down. They sat next to me and put their hand on my back.

"I'm sorry Zoe. Just find someone who's really n-" just then someone knocked on the door. "I'll get it." Juliana said and got up. She went to the door and opened it revealing Cameron there. Her jaw dropped. As Cameron was about to speak Juliana slammed the door on him. "AHHHHHHHHH!" Juliana exclaimed.

"WHAT?!" I said.

"IT'S CAMERON!!!!!!!!!!" Juliana said.

"WELL THEN OPEN IT! SEE WHAT HE WANTS!" I said.

Juliana cleared her throat and opened the door. Cameron's mouth was still open when he was about to talk. "Soooorry what are you doing here?" Juliana asked.

"Is Zoey here?" Cameron asked. Juliana slammed the door again.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" She screamed. Then cleared her throat and opened it once again. "Yes." She said.

"Can you ask her to come out here?" Cameron said. As Juliana was about to slam the door again she said

"I'll tell her." And slammed the door. "ZOE!" Juliana exclaimed.

"I know I know." I said and got up. I took a deep breath first and went out as Juliana chuckled a bit behind me. "Hey." I said as snow came down on us.

"Hey. So I've been wondering if you just...you know..want to come over to my house and chill in my room..maybe watch a movie." Cameron said. Excitement blew up inside me.

"Of course!" I said excitedly. "Hold on I need to tell them I'm just going out for a bit." I said and got inside. "I'm going to Cameron's house to just chill." I said.

They screamed. "HAVE FUNNNNNNN!" They said at the same time. I laughed and walked out again. Cameron grabbed my hand and electricity ran through me. Why is this happening. I love him too much. We walked to his house where...Nash is. Oh my gosh. I hope he doesn't see us.

I really like Nash but if he sees that I'm already hanging out with someone else I'm doomed. I hope he doesn't think we had a thing.

When we made it to Cam and Nash's house we went inside.

Living room: No Nash.
Kitchen: No Nash.
Dining room: No Nash.
Cameron's room: No Nash.

He was probably in his room. Cameron let go of my hand. "I'll go get popcorn." He said. After he made the popcorn he went back upstairs and started getting blankets out. I helped him make a little spot to sit in front of the TV. When it was all done Cameron put the movie on. We were watching 'The Fault in Our Stars'.

We leaned against the bed with blankets to keep us warm. We got really close to each other. "You're beautiful." Cameron said.

I blushed at his comment. "Thank you." I said. Just then we made eye contact. Then, our lips met. I think this is the one.

After the movie and everything it was time for me to go back home. I helped put the blankets away. When it was all done we stood there. Then we walked together outside. "I'll walk you home." Cameron said. He held my hand again and we walked to my house.

As my house became visible I could see Juliana and Jacky freaking out through the window. I laughed. "What's wrong with your friends?" Cameron said and laughed.

"I really don't know." I said. He laughed more. Wow. His laugh is so cute. Before I went inside Cameron said "okay?"

I smiled. "Okay." I said and laughed a bit. He let go of my hand and I went inside to girls screaming.

Today I wasn't so Broken.

THATS NOT THE END OF THE BOOK!!! There are still going to be SOOOO MANY MORE CHAPTERS! Who knows? Maybe their relationship won't last...maybe it will..or maybe it won't. NO SPOILERS TODAY

Btw I know I put Zoey hanging out WAY MORE with Cameron than Nash but that doesn't mean anything
