Chapter four

D-Dream?

Their heart rate picks up as Tommy starts to remember the things that Dream did to him. Tubbo can't hear his thought only the ones that he projects to him, but he can still affect their body.

"Tommy calm down. " Tubbo says absolutely holds his hand out to stabilize their shaking legs.

Philza reaches for them. "What's wrong with Tommy? "

"He's gone quiet, but he's panicking for some reason. " He grabs Phil's arm and he almost falls over.

"Y-you mentioned Dream? Maybe that's what's m-making him act like this. " Tubbo stutters.

"Yeah, he's dissapeared along with Technoblade. " Jackmanifold says. "But I think this one knows where he is. " He points at Phil, holding his sons.

"I can't confirm or deny that. " Phil says.

All of the sudden Tubbo no longer feels panicky and he stops shaking. He stands up straight. He searches his for his now silent friend.

"Tommy? " Tubbo asks his other half. "Tommy, answer me. "

There's no answer. It's like Tommy just dissapeared. Tubbo no longer feels the presence of his best friend.

Now it's Tubbo's turn to panic. "TOMMY! " He tries to change to Tommy but there is no one to change to. "Tom?"

"Woah Tubbo. You alright, buddy? " Quackity asks.

"I need to find Tommy. "

"How are you gonna do that? "

Just like that, their eyes roll back and their hair turns grey. They fall on the ground.

"Tubbo? " Philza asks? "Tubbo, what happened? " Phil leans down and tries to shake the boy awake, but nothing happens.

Since Tubbo couldn't find Tommy in his head, he assumed that Tommy left. So now he's searching the soul realm. It's an empty abyss between the dead in the living. Ghosts can go there to speak with anyone who's completely dead, like JShlatt.

"Tooommmmyyy! " Tubbo shouts and his voice echoes around.

"Tubbo? "

Tubbo spins around, hoping to see his best friend but instead sees a young man in a brown trenchcoat.

"Wilbur? " Tubbo says, reaching for him.

"Hey Tubster, long time no see. " Wilbur wraps his arms around Tubbo, hugging him tightly.

"I missed you, man. " Tubbo says, he releases the hug and looks up at Will. "Sorry to cut our reunion short, but I'm looking-"

"IS THAT A FUCKING MOLE I HEAR!? "

They both knew who it is before with looking, but they look anyways. JShlatt walks over to them, obviously tipsy and smoking a cigarette.

"Oh you bastard, I hoped to never see your adorable face ever again. " Shlatt says. "But noooo, you had to go and die, and ruin my time being dead. "

"I'm sorry? " Tubbo says, confused.

Tubbo turns back to Wilbur. "As I was saying, I'm looking for Tommy. "

"He's dead as well? "

"Yeah, we died together. " Tubbo explains. "We're in the same body, but now he's dissapeared and I'm worried about him. "

Wilbur stares off into space. "I've failed as a big brother, didn't I. " He looks back at Tubbo sadly.

"No, you were an amazing brother. " Tubbo says. "I couldn't ask for a better one. You were broken and you made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. "

"Thanks." Will smiles. "I think I felt the presence of someone over there. " Wilbur points to a door standing on its own, slightly open.

"Ok, see you later. " Tubbo runs to the door and walks in.
