Chapter 5 - The Garden

The surprise was a garden. I gasped and hugged him, sqealing "thank you," over and over again. "I'm glad you like it," he replied, enjoying my new change in actions. He was loving that I was so close to him, me finally giving in a bit. He smirked at this as I leaped from his arms and ran out into the grass laughing and giggling. It was the first time I've seen the outside world in nearly a month! I ran across the grass, leaping and twirling in the sunlight. It's been awhile since I've felt like this. I mean seriously, who likes being stuck inside all the time? It feels good to stretch my legs and finally run a bit. You'd think that a creature of Darkness wouldn't have such a bright thing. You'd expect dead trees and a greyscale color scheme, but no, it was pretty well kept.

I sat down by one of the beautifully green trees and looked around, seeing various types of flowers, such as Roses, Dandelions, Tulips, and my favorite, Lillies. I love Lillies! They remind me of a beautiful lake, during a time of peace and serenity, where everything is calm. I like to see them in the morning and at night on a full moon. The way the moonlight illuminates them is just so beautiful, words can't even begin to describe them!

A slight breeze blew, rustling the beautifully green leaves on the tops of the trees. Dark walked over to me and sat down next to me. "Are you enjoying your present?" He asked, putting an arm around me, but I was a little bit uneasy about what he was probably planning. "I love it!" I replied, a smile evident on my face. I became really tired, and leaned into his shoulder without realizing it. He gave me a kiss on my forehead. He reached out next to him and plucked a brightly colored Lily and put it in my hair behind my ear. I blushed a slight pink and looked at him, then around the garden.

After a while, the sun was going down. We sat and watched it. The sky lit up with the many different colors of purple, red, orange, pink, and yellow. It was beautiful. Sadly, like all things, it had to end. I lied down on the soft, green grass and looked up at the stars. Dark did the same, and rested beside me. I soon found myself starting to get sleepy. My eyelids felt like they weighed as much as boulders, so after trying to stay awake for so long, I finally gave into the exhaustion, and closed my eyes. I felt Dark shift and give me a soft kiss on the forehead and whisper, "sleep well, Princess," before I slipped off into a deep sleep.

*Dark's POV*
Finally, the spell is starting to take effect! I thought I would never be able to seduce her! One thing for sure that will happen, is that once the spell takes full effect, no-one will be able to get the old her back! I looked over at her with a smirk on my face. She'll be a perfect fit for my Dark Queen...
