Chapter 6 - Surprise

I woke up in my bed, feeling horrible. I managed to get to the restroom to throw up. After a while, it finally stopped, but I felt like crap. I decided to take a shower, maybe I'll feel better after I get cleaned up. I turned on the faucet and got undressed. I was about to get in the bath when I noticed something. My stomach was a little bit rounded... 'Oh lord!' I stared at myself in shock. 'I'm not ready to be a mother yet! What's Dark gonna think?! Would he accept that I'm...I'm...pregnant?' Thousands of thoughts raced through my head. I finally snapped out of it when a maid came and knocked on the door.

"My Lady, do you need anything?" She asked. "No, I'm just fine!" I called back. "Master Dark wants you down for dinner tonight" she informed me . "ok, that's fine" I was too busy fumbling around to acknowledge what she was saying. She left and I finally managed to get cleaned up. I stepped out of the tub, wrapping a towel around my body and hair. I walked into my bedroom and found a black and red dress on the bed. It was a strapless with sparkles from the waist up, and had ruffles all the way down to the floor. When I put it on, it must have trailed behind me forever! There was at least 3 feet left on the ground! I picked up the matching black heels, that had the same design as the top half of the dress, and put them on.

I walked towards my vanity and sat down, grabbing the hair brush. I started to brush my hair, once I finished brushing it, I put it into a side braid. I opened the black and silver makeup kit and did my make up. Once I was done, I looked at myself. I was absolutely stunning. I zoned out thinking about how I was going to tell Dark. He wouldn't...kill...the baby. Would he? He can't be so cruel as to kill his own child...right? Thoughts of him killing a newborn baby frightened and outraged me. The poor thing hasn't done anything wrong?! Why would you kill it?! One thing for sure is that I'm not going to give up my child without a fight!
